The only way to get out of a stunting ticket is to throw your bhole in the air like you just dont care. I got out of a red light ticket for goatse'ing the camera as i did it.

The law clearly states that the definition of a lane is not the broken white lines. It's a longitudinal strip of sufficient width that can accommodate the passage of a single line of vehicle. In this case - motorcycle. Could also be moped or cyclist.

The strip of sufficient width is the definition of the law regardless of the broken white lines. Therefore, a lane exists in that spot. If the school bus and dodge truck were closer together, there may not be sufficient width, thus, no lane.
by your definition, every paved walking and cycling path would then be legal for every motorized vehicle to use if it can fit on it.

The definition of a lane doesn't matter to this ticket. You didn't get a ticket for not being in a proper lane.

Nope. Roadway is defined in TSA:

(nn) “roadway” means that part of a highway intended for use
    by vehicular traffic;

you can't use that now that it benefits your side of the argument when you completely ignore it when it's convenient for your original stance.

Are you trying to groom me for court?

Look at my OP, the term ROADWAY is in the lane definition. Not ignored.

you just came up with a counter point and I corrected you.

It says “line of vehicles”, not “your vehicle”. It could be argued that the space has to be big enough for any vehicle that’s not considered a wide load to fit through.

I wouldn't go that far. I need the constructive criticism to be prepared.

Definitely, I need to come up with some sort of argument against that.

IIRC, this definition used to be more specific but it was changed sometime in the last 5 years. I used to say the width needed to accommodate a combination of vehicles. But that portion has since been removed.

You need to be studying/arguing about the portion of the TSA related to stunting.

Yah, I haven't looked into it but since its a broad offense to catch everything, I don't think there's a way out of that. I have to somehow mold that into this lane definition.

I see so very little to gain by fighting this, unless you are bored and are a big fan of Judge Judy. Then fill your boots.

well, we get to find out if 'lane splitting' is actually legal here. And I get to save the fine amount.

I love how extraslow continually mentions where the focus needs to be and it keeps getting glossed over.

Like he has said, you didn’t get a ticket for not being in a lane so you will lose all day with that argument.

That’s right. I contravened a section in the TSA for a maneuver that looks legal in the UHRR Reg.

The definition of stunting is very broad. Anything can be considered stunting. If you’re a hot chick and distracting that’s stunting.
I was charged with stunting because my GF had her feet up on the dash on her side back in the early 90s.

I don't remember the red mile incident, but I remember on 14th st and Northmount Dr (I used to live in the Condos on the NE corner of that intersection), CPS used to always, always run laser/radar there, in fact one year the Sun did an article about a guy who got 3 tickets in about 4 blocks right there, one before going down the hill, a multinova after the intersection going North, and then another laser ticket form the bus stop on the West side of 14th street about 1/2 way up the hill.
