Aside from Cable + Internet I am a degenerate living off other people's subscriptions.

    - Netflix - Parent's account
    - Disney+ - Sister's account
    - Crave - Wife's brother
    - Peloton - Parent's account

I give them nice things for Christmas so it evens out.

    Internet 50$ /month - 300mbit/20mbit
    Netflix 4k 17$ /month - shared
    Disney free - shared
    Prime 79$/year
Tweaknews to populate plex - 45$/year (renew on black fridays)
Plex - free - lifetime pass

Under 30$/month for streaming and then internet on top so not bad. It also covers my parents' setups as well.

    Edit: forgot spotify

I need to stop by and check out this setup some time lol. I am a super high level fan of F1, and most (if not all) of the nuances are way over my head. Would be cool to see what's going on and learn.

I mean, yeah, I will just invite myself over HAHA
Here's a shitty pic of the setup from last year that I sent to a friend. Excuse the mess that the kid left me.

The big problem with this setup is synchronization. Live timing and in car feeds are 20-30s ahead of my TV stream. There's a delay option on live timing, but not for in car. It's like those bud light goal lamps.

But yea, I don't just watch the F1 race, I try to look at as much of the data that's in front of me. If I'm following a particular race against drivers, I can see when they're cooling off tires, charging batteries more for attack on next lap, and with full in car radio stream I get more info before it's covered by the broadcast crew. It's nerdy, but I really enjoy the data analysis aspects, and yell at the TV when so and so is making poor strategic decisions.

I typically rewatch a race multiple times to see what else I missed. Then I listen to the post race podcasts and get upset at myself if I miss a detail.

I can't tell if people just aren't including cable TV in their posts other than killramos or if they actually don't have a TV channel subscription w/ PVR, etc.
No cable or PVR. Thats what pirating is for. Though we do have one other subscription that I forget about because its annual, not monthly.

    No cable, just internet here.

    - Apple music (me)
    - Spotify (wife)
    - Sirius XM x2 (yearly)
    - Netflix with the upgraded device level (we pay, share with family)
    - Prime (wife)
    - iHunter (yearly)
    - Costco (yearly)
    - Audible (monthly but I should cancel this as I have like 9 credits built up)
    - Crave (In laws' contribution)
    - Disney + (sister in-laws contribution)
    - Ring doorbell cam through google.
    - ICloud ~ 50gb/month as an emergency backup for my phone
    - One Drive/office 365 (through my business but I guess its still monthly)
    - Quickbooks (again through my business)

Usually I do NHL live too but I'm having a really hard time with the shortened season and super lame blackouts so I've been using the in-laws shaw BlueCurve to watch the Flames. I'll probably still end up buying it when I get frustrated enough that there is nothing on TV during night shifts.

I had a subscription to the Athletic for a hot minute but I just don't care enough about anything outside of hockey to feel that I was getting much value out of it.

I'm somewhat surprised that no one has a monthly subscription box of some sort - with all of them out there lol...

    As for me:
    - Spotify (shared)
    - Natflix (free - spouses parents lol)
    - Gym (free - work paid)
    - Condo fees (x2)

    Pretty minimal.

If we're counting Costco and condo fees, might as well add Enmax lol.

To be fair with all encompassing subs like Prime it’s tough to draw a box around them

Yeah I don't get at what point people started including food in their entertainment subscriptions.

Unless they're going to Costco to watch the TVs as a past time.
