People are still using usenet? What do you use it for? Used to good for movies and music before streaming services.

Tidal music (expensive, but awesome music streaming service)
    NHL
    Netflix
    wife has XM radio
XBOX game pass for the kids

been considering getting rid of the NHL pass. Subscriptions definitely add up each month.

    None. Zero. Zilch.

    Fuck, I am old!

Btw, what is the difference between an Amazon and Amazon Prime subscription as people have listed both in this thread already?

Still better IMO if I want stuff not on netflix. It also lets you automate a lot more. All the shows in my library automatically fetch new episodes and then organize them on my HTPC. And with Plex you can remotely stream stuff so I can watch it on the go when I travel as well as a lot of my family streams from my server too.

A bunch of my extended family were hanging onto their 100$ a month cable just because of one or two shows they wanted to keep watching, so it's pretty easy to set that up and then got them to cancel and their much happier.

    Amazon Prime
    Spotify
Use my parents Netflix family plan
Used to have Crave +HBO and dropped it... but probably going to sign up again soon.

I run a pretty skinny operation compared to some of you other guys.

Same. When people say Amazon, they actually mean Amazon Prime (which includes shipping and other shopping perks, and also the Prime Video streaming service).

I notice nobody wrote down a home security monitoring subscription. Do we treat that as a "so common we don't think about it" item like gas and electricity now?
