We ended up testing out a lot of different options and last week we finally cut over to a 3CX system which we are using today. Everyone thinks it is way better and I have way less stress trying to manage it. Bonus feature, people are able to work from home this week and take their extensions with them. Our receptionist has been working from home for 2 days and all incoming calls are going to her phone at home while she is still able to transfer to other people. None of our customers have any idea she's not in the office and it's great. We did have to buy new phones for anyone that wanted them but most people prefer to have the application on their mobile phones. For any new phones we do have, they all run on Wi-Fi which means we free up a $1100 POE switch in our server rack which no longer has to run all our phones.

I got rid of a $14,000 on premise PBX with inferior phones and moved to a completely free system that costs us $5 per month for the server space.
