    Default Remote screen sharing

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I’m looking for some sort of broadcasting system.

I would like to set up some sort of monitors throughout my offices in Canada. (Calgary, EDM, VAN, Toronto and Montreal). I would like to control all screen’s from one PC here in Calgary. Is this something that is possible?

I would like to display custom reports and perhaps had some widgets on the side. Such as weather etc

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The easy way is to point screen savers to a picture folder on a shared drive and change the pictures to reflect the content you want. Outside of that, i am no help.

If you're a Microsoft shop - publishing reports to a SharePoint site, and then just have the TV's (either smart, or basic computer attached to the display) show the SharePoint site?

yeah a website with a video is definitely the easiest way to go, then just add a script in to the startup of the remote machines. Could even use a raspberry pi or something for the remote displays

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

Teamviewer would work well, but would use a steady stream of data between the remotes and main computer.

Custom website is the easiest and best way to do this.

I often share my screen with clients in remote locations through Zoom software, but that's not going to work for what I think you are trying to do.

Appreciate all the suggestions everyone. Does anyone know of a company that I could perhaps consult with to set this up for me?

You have several options, but it sounds like you need a PC in conjunction with each monitor. If the monitor is to be wall mounted you will also need a wall mountable/mini PC.

These PC's can then get a remote desktop signal (permanent) from any PC you want.

Setting/managing a website would be a bit more work than just a remote screen share, but would have some advantages.

Something like this assuming your bandwidth and WAN is good to all your regional offices.

    I like this idea.
Also consider Lync which is rebranded to Skype and now seems to be something called Teams. Anyway, "screen sharing".

    X 1000

This is the best way, you make an acct (Free for personal use) and make Teamviewer start up when desktop stars create user/password and login whereever you are worldwide...

You can set remote control (you control from the other side) or presentation (You can only see the other screen)

I've used skype and teamviewer and teamviewer is like 100x easier and better..
