Default Eggnog - Yea or Nay w/poll

What are your thoughts on Eggnog?

I used to hate it but now I love it. Don't know why I ever hated it. The Costco stuff is the best I have found so far.

Yes, I should have specified - with booze.

Can only stand it mixed extremely strong with dark or spiced rum. Can't stand it "virgin" or at any moderate level of booze. I think what this means is that I like rum and don't like eggnog. That's probably the situation.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

This guy gets it....but only during the month of December. I got the craving early this year and think I screwed up my Christmas drinking routine.

    Yes.
And only the fattiest, creamiest kind you can find, which is getting difficult! There are way too many BS "light" versions eating up the shelves.

1/4 root beer to egg nog. I usually use a 16oz glass. Can adjust root beer to your liking

I don't mind it either way (virgin or boozy), but definitely home made is better than store bought.

It's actually really easy to make as most of the ingredients you probably already have at home except for whipping cream. I use this recipe:
