    Default Selling wheels advice

I have 17” 5zigen wheels with kumho tires and I have no idea what to sell them for. I bought them in 2003. They have some curb rash on them but the tires still look pretty good, I did not use them a lot back them. I am not into cars anymore so all I know is I spent $2700 back then. Any advice on price to put them up for would be greatly appreciated. I can post photos if that’s allowed or I can send photos on request. Thanks!

Because they 5zigen and the tires are now 16 years old, I'm going to say $600 or less.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Are the tires also 16yrs old?! Wear doesn’t matter when they’re that old.. $600 is very generous. Budget wheel brands have come along way since then

Sweet, thank you! The tires have been in my basement mounted to the wheels but not driven on. I guess rubber deteriorates though hey. I'll start at $600, i figured if i could get around that i would be happy.

Both. You'll get more traffic on Kijiji at that price range but also know you'll have a lot of lowballers too.

Im in the same situation with a set of old rims and summer performance tires. I would wait to sell til April/May if you are in no rush. Might get you an extra 100$.

Note than if the wheels are able to be mounted on popular cars (like Civics) then there might be extra value to them.

In the advert post the bolt pattern but also list the common vehicles that will fit. You need to be educated because your buyers sure as hell are not.

And then get ready for a slew of questions that are already answered in the ad.
