Yeah, we've got the 2019 Beer Advent Calendar thread and the 2019 cheap beer thread but don't we need something akin to the Scotch thread.
I'm not a big drinker but I do enjoy the occasional beer but that beer usually isn't something that'll fall into the Cheap Beer thread. Oak and Vine always seems to have a great selection and their north location is quite close to me plus they've got their 'you pick your 6' for something like $18. That allows me to sample a variety of beer types without having to buy a half sack or more.
Now I'll say up front that I'm not going to be the one that will notice the distinct fruity or whatever hints/flavours - more that I'll like the beer or not. I don't like overly hoppy beers - lagers, ales, porters and stouts and more my go to's. Lethbridge Pilsner, nah.
That said, one choice I've enjoyed as of late is Coulee Brew Company's Range Road Cream Ale so much so that I would buy a case of it to keep around. Cheap beer. probably not as a half sack would most likely be more than some beyond members would pay for a dozen cheap beers.
So worthy of a thread of its own or not?
