SNC-Lavalin Construction is barred from bidding on Canadian government contracts for 10 years, but the parent SNC-Lavalin will be under no such restriction. So, in effect, zero consequences apart from a tiny fine that is far less than what SNC profited from the corrupt contract, and is therefore just a cost of doing business. This is why share prices spiked.
