Default Who's Kia and Hyundai has Been Stolen??

A sharp uptick has been linked to viral videos, posted to TikTok and other social media platforms, teaching people how to start the cars with USB cables and exploit a security vulnerability in some models sold in the U.S. without engine immobilizers, a standard feature on most cars since the 1990s preventing the engine from starting unless the key is present

If you were going to risk your neck to steal a car. Why would you pick a Kia lol

Low effort also accompanies a low reward. They also don't mind Kia's in Nigeria where a lot of these go.

CDN spec has immobilizer by law since 2007. Much less of problem here as how many Hyundai's can stay on the road for over 10 years?
