Numbeo to the rescue. Not scientific by any means.
Consumer Prices in Seattle, WA are 19.29% higher than in Calgary
Consumer Prices Including Rent in Seattle, WA are 49.02% higher than in Calgary
Rent Prices in Seattle, WA are 130.04% higher than in Calgary
Restaurant Prices in Seattle, WA are 16.20% higher than in Calgary
Groceries Prices in Seattle, WA are 25.22% higher than in Calgary
Local Purchasing Power in Seattle, WA is 7.89% higher than in Calgary
While price is not 100% right, it's not bad when you want to compare to your home city.

Watched it, huge fucking yikes. I've been to Seattle 4 or 5 times over an 8 year stretch and the city keeps getting progressively worse in regards to homeless and cleanliness.

What should be and somewhat is a beautiful city is pretty scary/sketchy. Tough problem to deal with to say the least but doesn't sound like much/anything is being done about it going off this story.

Wow... I havent been to Seattle in over 10 years.. I remember wanting to invest in real estate there when CAD > USD. Still would have a been a great ROI.

For sure, my buddy lived right off East Hastings in China Town, we walked through quite a bit to get to some wicked restaurants/ pubs. We never had an issue.
But I was more fascinated by the police’s perspective than anything in that video.

I like Seattle a lot. A city built on garbage and prostitution, what’s not to love?

They already flooded their own streets with garbage every day. That's how they started as a city, lol.

Seemed to work alright the first time, might as well make brothels legal and bring back the "seamstress" tax to fund reconstruction of the city again

Thanks for entertaining me for the last little while. It was a useful reminder at the blatant stupidity of half the population, and the risks associated with the complacency of letting the lunatics run the asylum. I've permanently left my easy government energy job here, and permanently moving to Seattle tomorrow to take a great position with forward thinking 100+ year old company. I am sorry I will miss Alberta's downfall under archaic thinking and leadership. See ya fuckers later!
The good news for @terminator is that he really will get to see Alberta's downfall and the coming year(s) will be a great indication of how various economies rebound after a big global event. I hope his 100 year old forward-thinking company survives and thrives through these difficult times.
