I realize that if it's all fresh snow and not compacted down, a cheap lightweight snow shovel is so much better than a larger heavy-duty scoop. It shovels less snow but I do it 3x the pace.

I was destroying my back with the wide shovel. Switched to the square spade and even though it's slower I'm less likely to hurt myself.

I can get a better rhythm with a normal shovel compared to a snow shovel, this snow with a normal snow shovel is destroying my back too

This. Gotta have a two shovel system to cover both fresh and compacted snow.

I have very strong feelings about snow shovels. I also run a corn broom.

Aspen wouldn’t allow such plebeian business owners as construction companies.

Weather ain’t gonna do shit. If it was 15 for a few days in a row we might get a couple of inches of melt. It was forecasted to snow again on Saturday but the weather office changed that to cloudy. I’m just hoping the snow will stay pliable and not turn into rock hard ice

Plus 1 or 2 doesn't do much, but at least the hundreds of tonnes of salt the city spreads on the main roads works well at those temps.

Took a little rip to pound down the windrows along side my house. Truck started throwing stabilitrak and abs codes. Fun times.
Very common in my 2015, but usually it happens to me on gravel. It goes away with a stop/start cycle. Hope the same for you.
