At 16:30 driving to Okotoks on Deerfoot/hwy 2 it was a fucking skating rink. Any time as I so much as thought about touching the gas my ass end would get all squirrelly. Going over 80 was next to impossible in 2wd. Even in 4high it was dicey at best. I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning though because the KO2's treat fresh snow like dry pavement but are no bueno on ice.

I do it all the time on the highway in shitty conditions. Do you think it's bad for your vehicle?

I drive 4hi often in slippery/icey conditions at highway speeds in a 2500hd. Its fine. You have more chance of f'n up a differential by just driving a ford.

I know people regularly exceeding 180 kph at the strip with stock 4wd truck drive lines, with zero failures. Some running them for more than a decade.
