90 minutes out with the snow blower lol, was high enough that it was getting bogged down and had to run it on the slowest speed. Thing saved my life though, I would be dead if I had to shovel 130 feet of this by hand, my deck almost killed me haha

I need to make an excuse to take the truck for a rip haha

I have a neighbour who has a tiny snow blade on his quad. He's been driving back & forth for two hours going a full city block "clearing the road".
I guess the concept of the machine only being able to move ____cubic meters of snow before it sloughs off the sides is advanced. Does he think he could drive that thing to Edmonton in one pass and he'd be effectively removing snow? I think he does.

People with AWD crossovers can't even make it out of the cul-de-sac, I'm going to pack down the alleyway with the Jeep so folks can get out at least and then wander around for a bit seeing who needs unsticking.

I'm making a timelapse of the snowfall and the view got obscured by snow accumulating on the window sill this morning. It looked like The Day After Tomorrow from the preview haha

Beauty day to send urgent documents to Delaware.
Always nice weather up on Areo road. Multiple vehicles ditched all over.

Soob had no problem plowing the whole way to work. Studded china winters, awd, manual, welded rear diff. Saw a lot of cube vans stuck once I got near ogden/work, and a lot of all season drivers stuck on the way.

I'm glad I took the week off. Still got to shovel though. I need to start my daughter on a muscle building workout so next year she can do it all.

Just pulled a lovely lady in her minivan out of a drift in front of my house.

My wife was laughing at how my eyes lit up to get to press all the 4x4 buttons

Meanwhile my wife’s little awd crossover had no issues rocketing out of the driveway haha

Made it to work with little trouble in the Elantra on WS90. Only struggle was leaving my parking spot. Switched to a RAV4 with winters to do my running around today once I got to the shop.

omg the electric snow blower paid for itself- it was almost too much for it though, had to do 1/2 swath at a time - did the neighbours walkways as far as the cord could reach.

Wife got stuck in her Mazda3 with studdless winters right front (high centered) but we had the traction ramps in the back of her car. Some kind gentleman in a truck was also going around helping people who were stuck.

Had the temps been a little warmer, this could have been a lot worse for snow clearing - wet heavy snow = horrible.

Ws90 excellent choice and with awd it’s even better. Only issue is ground clearance lol did nenshi cut the snow plow budget I didn’t even see one out there and I took Macleod glenmore and Deerfoot lol

Ground clearance was definitely an issue in the Volvo. Traction is fine with studded nokian Hakka8 as long as I don't high center, having low pro tires dont help either. Got stuck coming out of the drive way...
