That's a really clever way to present ugly ass portrait photos.

Just as advertised.
Why on earth would you take a $400K car out without checking the weather forecast. I can only assume that person has so much money as not to care one way or the other, so it's probably not a big deal haha.
Storms sneak up around here. I know a Lambo owner who got $50k hail damage about 10 years ago. If you're already 40min from home, you are fuck. He's even had hail on the new one but it was minor and did no damage. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Cars are meant to be driven.... he has insurance (I would assume)... so its insurances problem now. Seems pretty simple.
Now with that said when the black/green death clouds start rolling in I may have tried taking cover somewhere.
Probably wanted to get an easy upgrade to an S.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I dunno, my phone was blowing up with hail warnings all day leading up to that storm and every weather app and news outlet had severe hail warnings the entire day. I don't think there are days where there is no chance of precipitation and instead we get a massive storm with golf-ball hail, not that I can remember anyway. Cars are for driving, I agree, however if you have a $400K prized possession, I would think most people would at least glance at a weather app before taking it out. I would be far too paranoid to ever own something like that haha. Oh well, I'm sure its insured but it sucks regardless. He's obviously wealthy enough to have willingly taken the risk. My GF had hail damage on her Fit repaired and it was $6500, so I can only imagine what it costs on an Aventador. Hopefully it's a lease and he doesn't need to worry about it at all! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

From what I heard when I walked by (there were a few other people standing around it talking about it), he owns / just opened us a KFC over here (Cornerstone, off Country Hills Blvd.) and I guess drove it to work and then the storm hit. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. That storm was just rain for a few minutes and then the hail dropped within the blink of an eye. Never seen hail come down so hard and fast before there was like a wall cloud of mist just rolled in, I was checking some of my camera's footage but the power went out so didn't get it all.
Well that's too bad, hopefully insurance gets it looking like new again. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
On the low end Aventador's are worth $350-400k, so it needs ~$180k in damage to write it off? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

There was a post on reddit, where it was caught on camera people taking their vehicles OUT of their garages and parking them on the driveways during the hail storm, assuming to get written offThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I read that too...I was wondering if t was related to COVID or just trying to get out of a bad car deal...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I can't pay for it anymore...Hey ! some hail...Lets try for a write off...
2011 Ram 1500 QC Sport
2017 Jeep Cherokee Limited
Except its very rare to get written off due to hail. Especially if its a half decent vehicle or sorta new.
Now with this storm I'm sure a lot is getting written off.... but that Lambo is getting fixed when its worth multiple 100's of thousands $$'s.
The people looking to do insurance fraud don't realize their vehicle would probably be fixed instead of written off

If their sun roof and rear glass was gone, the interiors would also be written off too from rain etc. Its not just dents at that point.
But how do you fix dents in CF?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
