Put the ol 2 stroke snow blower to work this morning.. she was struggling in the 2’ + snow drifts we have up in Airdrie.

Haven’t taken the savage fit out of the garage yet, but the wife’s Tuscon is doing quite well in this stuff.

Just spent two and half hours helping neighbours get in and out of our townhouse complex--a Sentra, a Corolla, and a Golf.

Got up nice and early to shovel the driveway and sidewalk without checking the amount of snow first. A foot of snow on the roof and more drifted along the sides.
Wife was off so hoped she would shovel but got called in anyway. So I guess my work will reallybe cut oit for me tonight.
Lots of snowplowing on side roads in the Merc but no issues with 4Matic and Hakkas. Wife took the Wrangler and no issues except she likes 4-wheel power slides....

omg the electric snow blower paid for itself- it was almost too much for it though, had to do 1/2 swath at a time - did the neighbours walkways as far as the cord could reach.
Same here. Gone thru 2 batteries to do 1/2 driveway tho. But the back is much happier.

Calgary does not technically even plow residential streets. Although they will "maintain" alleys enough for the garbage trucks to operate.
