Yeah, something about not needing the parking ban because of "warmer weather ahead' which seems like BS. I have never seen my alley plowed, but who knows. Today was supposed to be collection day and they definitely did not come by. I haven't seen anyone put out their bins for front street collection, either...

Had virtually no snow left on my roof as of yesterday. Preparing for deck clearing session #3...

They sometimes do. But there isn't a clear service standard for that.

Trackhawk isn't adequate for these conditions. A TRX is the solution now.

Lots of fluffy snow in Airdrie...wife is taking her Juke out with brand new Hakkas into several residential neighborhoods, I tried to tell her that she's gonna get stuck (Juke is too light to drive thru this type of snow)...oh well, not gonna ruin my day by arguing with a woman.

WRX didn't even make it 20 feet from the garage before beaching itself. Time to look for a lift kit or a Raptor methinks.

    all season tires ?
I'd say of the dozen or so I helped out this morning, over half had winter tires but good luck in a foot of snow on top of sheet ice.

Also, today I learned that city buses don't have much for recovery points. You have to run hooks into frame holes.

Made it home from work no problem. Took Stoney and it was pretty empty and decently plowed. Took my vw alltrack out for a lap of the street and it was doing good. Any one with rwd is having issues today, by tmr it should be drivable.

The side roads/alleys are ice on the bottom with 30-40cm on top. Good luck unless you have clearance AND winter tires.

The plows are out focusing on the priority routes until the snow stops.

The minivanvan I pulled out this morning had solid dedicated winters on it, clearance is a massive issue today though.

My little Lexus was a beast though haha really happy with it.

Clearance is definitely an issue, RS had no issues until I had to park at work - then I got high centered. I'll dig myself out later lol

MF-ing massive driveway nearly gave me heart attack this morning. Had to move the center to the side in small sections cause its too deep to push. Throw the center to the side, then throw the side (which is now 2' deep) to the lawn. Fuck me. And I had shoveled it last night before bed.

    First. World. Problem.

Half my neighbours have that. Awesome concept.

Though the real winning is when they have it on steps, at least a driveway you can use a snowblower on.

Probably uses more power than your Tesla fleet though.

Shoveled last night, literally made no difference as the wind seems to have blown it all back. Took like an hour and a half, apple watch, siX MInuteS oF EXerCise. Little pos snowblower cant handle anything except for blowing snow into my face since I can only shovel one way. I hate duplexes.

I was trying to help a guy in a FWD Dodge minivan that had shitty all-seasons, the traction control kept kicking in (because he had zero traction and should have stayed the fuck home) so his solution was repeated redline neutral drops to get wheelspin. Not my car and therefore extremely entertaining to watch.
