Driving home from work yesterday, got off the Henday highway and onto city street and it just started torrential pouring rain. Wipers on max speed. Couldn't see a damn thing in front of me, or if I was even in my lane or on the road. And I couldn't stop and pull over either as I would of been rear ended and had no idea where the shoulder was. Slowed down 50. Flashers on. Finally let up after couple mins. Good times, never been stuck in a rain storm like that. Cray cray. 25mm of rainfall in a 5-10 min span.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Ok, so this can completely fuck off, now.
Does anyone have the right email address or cell# for whatever bearded man in the sky is the real one? I'm gonna post some Volk wheels on Kijiji for $650 and out his contact info. This is fucking bullshit along with the rest of 2020.
I'm not the only one thinking that it's abnormal to have a storm every 1.5 days, right?

I assume the financial aid comments in here are due to the handling of the NE hailstorm. I could see potential support for deductibles due to the current state of employment, and certainly pressuring the insurance companies to make good on their policies, but am I missing something the article below doesn't cover?

Not usually this far into July though.

The Stampede gods demand the sacrifice of a waitresses (social) life by getting spit-roasted. The storms will continue until this happens.

Copperfield got hammered with some grape size hail. Got 2½ cars in the garage at least.

The hail seeding planes made about 3-4 passes above my house in Mahogany about 5 mins before the hail hit. I bet if they didn't the hail would've been really bad as there were half a dozen golf ball sized ones that landed on my front lawn, the rest were tiny pea sized or smaller.

I think it was too late, I heard them flying above then it was just a downpour of hail

I saw one do a few passes over Woodbine prior to some marble size hail but mostly pea size.

What I don’t understand is that, just like the last storm, the clouds were moving in a very different direction than what the radar showed.

The lower level clouds were rotating crazy fast in a counter clockwise overhead as the storm approached - we went to a field here in Deer Run to see the sky and it felt like something out of the movie Twister. Would not have been at all surprised to see a touch down.

The more discrepancy there is with cloud direction, the more serious the storm.

They were saying that weather tracking is off with fewer planes in the air. That was early lockdown but I wonder if it's still an issue.

The fewer planes is impacting forecasting, it shouldn't impact live data

That storm got way bigger and went way further south right after it formed on the west edge of the city. Just narrowly escaped here but buddies in new Brighton have cracked siding and fucked cars.
