We forget that a predicted storm is mild at worst.

Let us have this annual freakout.

no doubt - tomorrow Deerfoot shut down by 6pm due to crashes
My daughter has soccer evaluations on Sunday, outside, -12, I’m hoping they rethink it

this has happened before - we in Calgary will get some 'light' snow supposedly, and then opps, the storm heads a little more north - and its game on, blizzard
Not worried. Doing some country driving this evening.
Places like brooks are getting slammed with 30cm.
We've had about 15 power surges/outages in the last 2 hours in the Mackenzie Town area. They seem to be increasing in frequency.
I can eat more hot wings than you.
Fuck these winds in Strathmore. You would almost think a tornado was around.
Okotoks to Calgary icy and windy. McKenzie lake to Evanston clear so far (memorial so far)
Wow I might need to officially put on winter tires soon.
Hopefully not if the snow ain't sticking long.
^ youd better soon, overnight lows are back trending below zero again (my threshold for summer car -> winter car switch)

So far this month, I've had a toilet go bad, my dishwasher died and now my door lock shit the bed, thought it was just adding to it with light bulbs

Damnnnn we got rocked in Edmonton today. The storm was supposed to go your guys way and avoid us but nope.... I think we got 15-20cm. Tons of cars in ditches and cars doing 50 under the limit on the highway but the winter beast had no issues

You know those bored stay at home moms who's entire lives revolve around driving their kids to soccer, various cleaning accessories, and worrying about neighbourhood rapists? The kind of people that watch the View and go "uh huh..." Those unfulfilled people who try to fill the void in their empty lives by writing whiny letters to the editor complaining about shit that no one really cares about?
Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
Just drove Deerfoot from Beddington Tr. to 130 Ave SE. Not slippery at all but really shitty visibility. Mostly hard to see lanes, and occasionally hard to see anything.
No accidents observed, no-one in the ditch. Yet.
Man this fucker is windy.
Not used to seeing this 15 degree windchill differential.
Wind keeps waking us up shaking the house
