FCFS out at Carseland is starting to get more and more people out this morning. Even last night had a decent amount of people already here
It's that near our right beside Speargrass Golf Course?

    Mildly applicable to this thread...
Look at the size of this fucking bug that I murdered while somewhat camping-ish!!¡!¡!

That's a clover flower for size comparison. I think it was either a horse fly or a deer fly? Imagine the bite that slut would've given!
Had one of these trying to take a chunk out of me today at mist mountain. Great day for a dip in the warm pools.Name: 20200721_142441.jpg

How does that jeep tow the trailer? My trailer is a bit bigger, not by much, and I tow it with a heavy half.
Really well with the Hemi. Wouldn't do it with the I6 I don't think. Towing capacity is solid. Naturally, a lighter vehicle will be more subject to towing issues than a half ton, but with stabilizer bars I have had no significant white knuckle moments.

Biggest issue I encounter is not quite getting the gear I want up hills. Either the tranny wants to go with low RPMs and I lose power, or I tap the skinny a bit more and end up going into RPMs higher than I would prefer for sustained travelling and end up going faster than I want. This results in a fair amount of up and down shifting which is annoying. Could be a Jeep thing or could be specific to the programming of my particular unit... especially considering it is tuned.

But really, it does wonderfully. Keep in mind the picture may be a bit deceiving due to perspective. The trailer is just a 19'.

Kinda, the pools are very small. And if your not a strong hiker, it's a challenge

That'll last me a while. Looked around McLean area for a while and decided the ATV crowd had cleaned it out. Went up Powderface trail and there was lots within 50m of the road. Probably less than 2 hours of work for two guys to fill two trucks. And such a pretty drive.

    $175/night. Wow that's steep.

Honestly it's probably cheaper per night than owning your own trailer lol

That’s actually not a bad deal if you want easy turnkey camping. If you rent an RV in July it’s 120-200 per night plus gas, then add the costs of the site (although unserviced are only $30ish a night after fees) and it starts to be way more expensive than 175 per night

This year you’re probably kinda hooped unless you’re going out on like Monday or Tuesday (pending the campsite... which one did you try?). Lots of people camping full time this year
