No one needs a Winnebago. They lost their brand cachet decades ago. Jesus at that point just buy an Airstream.

I would rock the shit out of a flying cloud 30FB but it's too fuckin' yuuuuge. The crazy rear slide layout on our Outback really got us a great floorplan for our needs in a compact spaceThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

ExtraSlow is gonna have a Savage™ 3/4ton gas truck that will get you 28L/100KM of beyond credibility for sale in a matter of weeks which would leave you with plenty of trailer budget at 30k truck&tow-rig all-in for sure. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I pull a 28 foot now, it's too fucking long. Would like something around 21 feet instead.

Why don’t you just buy this? No need for a truck and less than an hour from Calgary to spend your weekends in trailer luxury!

Glamped at an airbnb cabin out by Jaffray in BC, came home early as we were catching the black lung from all the wildfire smoke, so damn bad

I suggest spending less than 10k on a used trailer with an acceptable floorplan and then spending 2k on new tires and servicing the bearings and brakes. Extra 200-450 on new batteries of ya want, although that can wait.
I really like standens for bearings and brakes. Or do it yo'sef if ya handy yo.

Did you go the other way to Mystic beach as well? Its a good spot too. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
We didn't hike over to mystic beach because of the number of kids we had with us. It's a longer walk from the campsite plus the hike itself is longer too than it is down to china beach. We did do the mystic beach hike earlier in the summer and it was stunning! The rock wall where the little "waterfall" was a lot of fun for my kids to just run back/forth through. We haven't been much further beyond that but is definitely one of the amazing parts about being out here on the island; definitely looking forward to exploring more of it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Sleeping at Kinbrook this weekend. Spent all of yesterday at Dinosaur Park. Highly reccomend the guided hikes if you want to find "wild" fossils. We did the "Dino stomp" hike and there were so many fossils my daughter literally tripped over one! Amazing stuff. Totally worth the cash.
Kinbrook is rainy this morning.

Spray lakes for what's likely the season-ender for us this weekend. Smokey on Saturday but beautiful on Sunday.
Officially winterized the trailer on saturday.. Gonna go for a backcountry day next weekend, might be about it
Winterized our trailer Sunday too. We did 14 weekends this summer.
Was a great year even though we didn't make it to BC once and passed on our usual 10 day trip.
I have one more trip booked for Thanksgiving.
I'm tentative for Thanksgiving.

Did my last trip at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park. Did a Thursday to Monday trip and had to drive into town twice on Friday so took the car back the one time. A few weird looks with the car parked like it was towing the trailer.
Awesome to have the car out front of it. How do you like that campground? I have never been there.
