Default What's a good "see the fall colours" route?

Haven't done many casual day road trips in the last 10 years, and don't remember and good routes. I do vaguely remember some good ones up near Water Valley though.

Whats a good round trip route? 2-4 hours long.

Edit: NOT BRAGG CREEK. Fuck that intersection.

Bragg Creek / Millarville area via highway 22, Sheep River Falls, etc. Anything out that way looks amazing right now.

68 is not paved, but a very high grade gravel passable by any vehicle.

Highway 68 is NOT paved. Easily confirmed on Google maps sat view. I also asked my wife’s uncles boyfriend and he confirmed.

There is a small chunk paved going south from highway 1. Once it bends west it’s all gravel the majority of the drive until it comes out in k country past the reserve.

Hwy 68 is definitely paved to the intersection at the forest reserve and then again has a weird section of pavement that is near the Jumpingpound Demonstration Forest, however that is by far the worst potholed road ive ever been on, so it's not like you're flying (https://www.google.ca/maps/@51.04392...7i13312!8i6656). It has streetview the whole way on 68 so you can see it.

Take 549 from Okotoks toward this general area (without hitting Bragg). Massive rolling hills and set some speed records along the way. Then drive towards Priddis and then hit 762 for more speed and cornering records. Repeat.
    Profit.

He's got PPF. Spraying off wild animal carcass has never been easier.
