There is supposed video on Twitter of it crashing, and it’s on fire on the way down. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Well if it's the video I just watched on Twitter then that would be one hell of a technical glitch to cause that much fire before it crashed.
Yes this definitely seems like a situation that is going according to planThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I’d give even odds between:
A) he’s in a blind panic as his only tactic of yelling loudly isn’t working and he doesn’t have a plan B
B) someone from the military slipped a sedative in his pile of cheeseburgers
"mechanical issues".
Well if that ain't the fastest airline crash investigation ever...
I can eat more hot wings than you.
Who the hell would think it's a good idea to get on a plane leaving Iran in the hours after it attacked a US base.. Yeah they may want out, but they're long past the point of...'ok I think it's time we go'. The nutjobs over there would be well aware it was packed full of iranian people who now live elsewhere and lob a rocket at them for abandoning their countrymen.
As for the 56 dead at the funeral.. Can you really expect much more from people that take to the street holding up a photo of a killed war general? or take off their sandals off to shake at the sky and shout? i can't think of one person I know that would even go to a good reasoned protest really.
Also, hell of a sight - over 50 f35s sent up in rapid succession yesterday:

Not that the agreement was ever worth the paper it was written on to begin with. We all know Iran was still developing and capable of using nukes despite the "deal"This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I know people like to say this, but I haven’t been able to find any proof of it; and the EU and Iran scrambled pretty hard to make sure the deal would be honoured instead of getting more sanctions. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Iran, of course, can’t have a nuclear program but this deal seemed to be working as it was intended.
Well there is nothing in the deal requiring Iran to actually prove anything, or allow inspections. And they are the shadiest country on the planet. So read between the lines. What was their motivation to actually honor the deal? And combine that with how as soon as something goes awry, they instantly are out of the deal and have nukes. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Well they were getting far less sanctions than they were now, that was the motivation. Now that they’re getting ruthlessly hammered with sanctions again, why would they keep cooperating? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I can read between the lines, but Iran does not possess nuclear weapons.
I got odds on a F-35 being shot down.
Cocoa $11,000 per ton.
My belief is that if Iran had nuclear missile capability, they'd simultaneously launch about 72 of them at least two weeks before they were done. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Think about it. We're not far off from that scene from The Dictator & Nuclear Nadal in terms of organizational behaviour.
Btw, 63 Canadians amongst the dead in that plane crash. No Americans.
For the pilots in this forum, what sort of a technical glitch would cause a plane like this to be on fire the way it was before it crashed - the video I watched on Twitter would appear to show a minor explosion or flare up with blazing parts falling away shortly before the plane crashed.
and they wont hand over the black boxes..This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Does mechanical issue include a rocket in the tailpipe?
Cocoa $11,000 per ton.
i could see that causing a mechanical issue, such as fire
Latest reports are an engine fire.

Uhh what? One of the key parts of the agreement was validation. From the jcpoa wiki:This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The agreement was not perfect and even Obama and the negotiators that worked on it acknowledged this, but it met the key goal which was to stop Iran from getting a nuke.To monitor and verify Iran's compliance with the agreement, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will have regular access to all Iranian nuclear facilities. The agreement provides that in return for verifiably abiding by its commitments, Iran will receive relief from U.S., European Union, and United Nations Security Council nuclear-related sanctions.
The only reason trump pulled out was because Obama’s name was on it and not his.

Sketchy. My money is on a missile accidentally hitting it. Those poor people just trying to gtfo Iran. 63 Canadians tooThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
TWA 800 exploded on its own. Massive fire. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
When it comes to plane crashes, witness reports are basically useless. No clue what happened here but if indeed it was mechanical, that sucks for Boeing since it looks like the plane was 3 years old?
Also typically when this type of thing happens investigators from operator's country, country where plane crashed and manufacturer's country work together to investigate. Should be fun. Yes I watch Mayday, hence expert on this stuff.
