So Trump just handed Iraq on a silver platter to Iran? The train wreck never stops with this imbecile.

Or you look at is as > Trump doesn't want to be there anyways, now he can leave without being labelled as 'abandoning the iraqis'... Place goes to shit, he says told ya so.. Iran moves in and they advance on Isreal (which by then has more US troops stationed since they still want numbers in the ME.. Jordan may expect some too? ) Something then happens and sets off a major spat.. USA drops loads (..of bombs)
This could play out several ways. And some of them are only going to end in the eventual glassification of some desert sand should iran push its luck.
So... safe to travel to Egypt in a few weeks?
I can eat more hot wings than you.
This means NATOs training mission is effectively over considering they cant do shit without US basing infrastructure. Looks like Canadians are also coming home, or at least going to Kuwait.

Hence why Trump is now threatening Iraq with sanctions if they expel the US troops. A stable genius indeed...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Who cares.. I'm white and have been pulled inside and questioned for a while too. If they want to be free to roam from country to country without impediment, they can head back to the old country - their borders seem pretty loose.
If I had to guess, Trump simply did this to solidify the military industrial complex and its ties with Republican senators. It does not matter now if he plays nice with Democrats, that line has already been crossed - might as well solidify the side that is not against you.
So technically, there was no reason to take out a general as an actual "invasion policy" - this is simply a distraction noodle. Which is pretty much exactly what I would have done. I mean, there are a heck of a lot of really mean people in the greater world. Taking out one or two to appease a country based on strength through militarism only makes sense.
