I was in Vegas with some buddies, and they rented some supercar, which broke, so while they were sorting it out, the rental people flipped them the keys to an F430 and told them to be back in an hour. They grabbed the keys and headed out to the desert in the ferrari and came back almost exactly an hour later with 100 more miles on the odometer.

    lol

Can confirm. 40 now and went to Vegas last March. Took the kids to the pool a bunch, and definitely felt like the dirty old man with the scantily clad women half my age all around.

I'm also 40 in june. Fuck. But I had the same thoughts, vegas with some friends, cars and pool parties. I'm sure the pool parties will make me feel older than dirt though haha
It's takes all of 2 minutes to have a gaggle of those girls with you haha

    On topic:

I went to Vancouver and saw a greasy little punk show at Pat's Pub on East Hastings on my 40th eve. Had a couple rooms at Hotel Blu, when we reconvened to soothe hangovers in the hot tub the next morning we decided to rent a helicopter. We picked up a sack of Coors Banquet and met him at the heliport. Plan was to just get one way dumped in Whistler and figure out how to get back to Vancouver later (it was winter) but it ended up socking in too much for that little chopper to get there so we flew all around setting down at random spots on snowy peaks and having beers for a couple hours. That pilot was awesome and it was a fucking riot, there were 3 of us. Came back to the heliport and spend the remainder of the day totally over-the-top eating/drinking in Gastown/Yaletown.

    It was fun.

We do annual Vegas trips, it’s a blast every time.

But I like to gamble, eat, party, drink and listen to music.

    I’m 47, but I feel 27

Spontaneity is really the way to live life, I'm 100% certain of that, my wife disagrees and it's unfortunate, shes a planner.

If that day would have happened with her, even with how awesome it sounds, it would have been her undoing lol

it was 44 degrees last year when I was in vegas. The pool was a great way to relax but the $18 beer made me question why I was drinking. The cement burnt the bottom of my feet instantly.

We had zero plans, just booked Vancouver because I like to be there. Even the show we went too got booked after we were going, everything was just whatever happened in the moment. I love doing shit that way for sure!

It was the best day ever, just random decision and kept calling people till we found a guy who was free (on a stat holiday no less) that said "no problem lets do it"!
