Default Samsung OneConnect + Shaw Bluecurve - issues

I have a 2019 Samsung Frame, connected to Samsung Oneconnect box.

The Oneconnect box has a single input to it from Shaw Bluecurve TV.

Every single morning, I must power cycle the Shaw box to get cable TV content.

    Shaw has no answers.

This is what I see every single morning.

    Anyone else encounter this issue?

There is a discussion thread on the Shaw forums with many others encountering the same problem. No solution x 1 year though.

    Any suggestions are most appreciated.

Is this the wired tv bod or a wireless one? My guess is wireless.

First thing I would be looking at is the wireless connection, easily the weakest link the in the chain.

They are wireless, but I've had it hard wired to network since day 1.

Maybe harass Shaw support a bit more, make them send out a few service calls until they replace your equipment or push software updates to you?

I have a similair issue. If I turn on my tv with the shaw remote, but the tv isnt on the shaw hdmi input I have to power cycle the bluecurve box to get it to function. Piece of junk.

Shaw won't have a fix for this until Comcast does. There's a similar issue on the xfinity forums.

They don't have a real fix either but a workaround seems to be to change the resolution to 1080p instead of 4k. Could give that a try
