    Default Freestone Produce

Went there for the 2nd time today. Prices are quite good but the place is really busy. Some mentioned the produce do not last long. The crowd frustrate me but my wife likes the savings.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Kinda like this thread. Zero details, but my girlfriend says it's fun anyway.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Selection/variety is quite lacking and quality can be as well, they do buy a lot of short dated produce which they get for low prices - you should see how much they toss into their dumpster..

Yeah it isn't that great when I went but you might find the odd deal if you are there at the right time.

I did buy a ton of sweet limes from there and they are AMAZING for mixed drinks. Game changer.

Went there once. Lots of stuff I wanted but couldn't find any of the produce that looked like it'd last. Ended up buying very little. I think if you were doing a big dinner it'd be handy. Like stock up the day before, otherwise most of it just isn't going to last. Definitely check expiration dates on any packaged goods because some of it was expired.

Split a case of mangoes from there with a friend once... he took it home, cut into one and it was full of maggots. Threw the rest of the box away and never went back.

I like H&W much better, but they're not quite as cheap as they used to be.
