Default LF: Bright stars Taggie puppy. Calling all beyond parents

    Hey Guys

I have looked online, Ebay, Amazon, google search, any other suggestions? or does anybody have one your kids have outgrown. I would gladly buy off you
I have already got her a 3 pack of similar ones but in here eyes they are not her puppy, this one has long ears and when you pull the legs it plays twinkle tinkle little star I believe

    Thanks for all your help!

I can't help with that toy, but if you are willing to have two to three days of hell, she CAN get past this. Will be total hell though.

I have made that suggestion to my wife also, but at this current moment our 9 month old son is teething and as of tomorrow we get to rip the rear roof and more then likely all the floor joists out of our house thanks to our lovely home builder. So with all this currently taking places my wife just starting to unravel

sort of just trying to put a bandaid on it till we know how long we will be homeless

Please consider ES' most excellent advice, this is just a small stuffy - what are you going to do when your kid gets older and the things become more expensive? Cave right away because it's easier? And what exactly are you teaching your kid by caving right away?

Edit, btw, are you actually going to be homeless like as in living in a cardboard box under a bridge or sleeping at the DI?

I totally agree with Extraslow and the wife and I have talked and talked about this. I grew up in a larger family and we did not have a ton of money so we learned no at a early age and anything we got we worked for. I think this is more a temp solution because as of tomorrow we have to move out of our home and into a hotel for anywhere from one week to six months and the lovely builder has graciously offered the Alberta minimum of 150 dollars a day living allowance which as you can imagine does not go far for a family of four with four rescue dogs.

I assumed I would get some opinions on how to parent when I posted this, but without getting into too many details our daughter has some development issues and she does not adapt to change very well and we spend hours and hour with specialists and professionals working with her. I was simply trying to find her puppy because we know it helps her and living in a hotel will be a lot for her to handle.

Points made. I'll apologize for my previous stance but I could only go by what was presented.

Glad you were able to find one! Sounds like this is not a battle worth fighting at this point in your life and better to do anything you can to keep the wife and family as sane as possible

Funny story, I bought extra tiggers to prepare for the inevitable. And my dumb ass shitty hiding skills, he found them all and wanted all of them. Thank fuck he outgrew them a couple months later haha.

Hopefully she will out grow them soon. My sister ended up tracking me down a pair and after a quick 7hr road trip I picked them up. As soon as I gave her the new one she sort of gave me a stink eye and I could tell she knew it was not her old one but soon let it pass and now is sleeping away, with it tucked in next to her!

A few months back toys R us had bins full of them on clearance for 9.99. I should have just filled my trunk at that time .... Lesson learned my wife already ordered two Extra jellycat monkeys because it seems to be my son's stuffy of choice and of course they are a special edition 2019 toy and stopped making them now, I will make sure I hide them good because kids seems to find everything.

Thanks for all the help guys and the Pm's offering help! we are just excited to be able to give our little one something of comfort as we could be hotel bound for months on end, We are assuming so since the builder has been screwing us around since march and our home warranty provider has really not taken the process seriously, so now they get to removed pretty much the whole rear of our house in winter, too bad they did not just step up this summer and get it done.
