    Low mileage, manual transmission exotics are guaranteed to appreciate because in 20 years who will be left that can actually drive them

    You have it backwards. If there's no one able to drive them, there's no demand.

    If the italians stop making MT cars altogether, that would be more likely to "guarantee" appreciation.

    Aren't all the latest Italian exotics auto/DCT? I can't think of a MT exotic for sale today from Italy. Come to think of it I think the only high HP MT cars (>400) from mainstream manufacturers are the Challenger Hellcat, Chev/GM, Ford, Aston Martin, BMW, Porsche ... and that's it? Probably overlooked something.
