The difference is they pump in actual fresh air from outside, rather than bleed air from the engine compressors like most other planes. There is some evidence that the engine bleed air contains harmful compounds.
Yes, thats exactly what I stated. No engine air is coming into the pressure vessel.

Fume events are extremely serious to human life as turbine engine oils contain a known neurotoxin (TCP) which is cumulative. It has killed people.

I can confirm they do indeed have more room and recline more.

    Photos for proof.

Regular seating, don’t recline as much and less leg room.

Amazing. $200 for 17 hours of extra comfort feels worth it, glad I did.

Unless you have access to magic fares, It's practically the same price for premium and business...
Yeah it was not that price when we booked. Sales happen I know, but when we booked it was $1800 return for premium plus (well technically not return but both flights included which is a steal of a deal) and almost 5k for business class.

I booked Paris direct, the “flex plus” seating rows 1 & 2 for 5 of us with reserved seating there and back.

Total cost was $5371.50 this was using two buddy passes.

This is for August, so flights seem to go up quite a bit in the summer.

    Premium was $1990/person
    Business was $5500/person

Yeah pretty same same for us being we are travelling in July. Other than Christmas, those are probably the two most expensive months of the year.

$1800 return is a great deal for premium from what I've seen. Nicely done.

Not sure why business is so much cheaper on this flight, I've been tracking it for a while and it's been pretty consistent. Who the hell wouldn't get business if it's the same price?

Fuck yeah man... For $300 a difference one way I would have snapped that up, no question! I just checked for curiosity sake after your post and our flight is still huge dollars to upgrade to business class, and we were actually $1900 and change and not $1800 but still a hell of a good deal for premium! While I was on the site I just claimed our seats too. 5A and 5C (there is no B) both ways. Right at the front. Couldn’t be happier!

Just found a bunch of price inversions on March 20th.

I think the first flight is Dreamliner the whole way. 787 from yyc - yyz then stop in yyz, get fuel and head off to lgw on the same plane.

Looks like the second flight is the whole way one. First and third has two planes in the itinerary.

OK I don't understand the correction then, we were both saying the same thing from the beginning haha.

37F. Pasta for me, also had the pasta on the way out to London on the 20th.
No way, I was on the same flight as well from Heathrow on January 6, 2020. I had the chicken, they give you a lot of food surprisingly. I was Row 26.

    I shoulda had the chicken.
How much did they give you..? They only gave the pasta dish, breadroll and some nasty small package thing.. I think that was pasta too. I had to tuck into my own food that I brought with me.

I thought the food was pretty decent on the flight, however last few times I’ve flown overseas have been Westjet/Air Transat so I had to bring my own food.

I had three meals on the plane on Monday, two personal I brought plus all the airplane food I thought was delicious haha.

Make sure the 787 you're flying on was built in Everett and not Charleston

Is there any way to tell before hand where the aircraft was manufacturered?

Nice find! I haven't checked to see if it's still up today, but I didn't see that being posted on any of the error fare/cheap fare websites! It's too bad that business class wasn't the same on depart and return...

Because they're having trouble filling the business class cabin on this route, because business travelers don't want to fly on Westjet, into shitty Gatwick, and with a stop in Toronto. They want to fly direct to Heathrow with AC, where they get benefits like Star Alliance lounge access, etc.

Heathrow is hella nice. Stansted and Luton are still dumps.

London City is adorable. It's like the little airport that could.

So I've never flown into Heathrow but is it really than much better than Gatwick?

Like, its just an airport. I land, get my bags and leave and there's a rail from there so its 30-60 minutes to downtown london depending where you go.

Even departing I don't really see the appeal of spending more for a different airport when every single airport I just check in, go through security, find a nice restaurant or pub and relax and have a pint then walk over to the gate and hop on the plane. Some have nicer lounges I guess if you have access to those.

If I was connecting and had to spend 6 hours somewhere I'd care more. But if its the destination airport I just don't see the point.
