Wow..So many know how to use chopsticks. Never thought so many Beyonders had a inner Asian in them. Impressive..
I think there is a difference between know how and choose to. I can use them quite effectively but won't unless no fork is available or im eating sushi.

I remember eating lunch in the basement restaurant at the Chinese cultural centre, before the privilege of being invited to the Beyond +15 foodie crew.

The mainland chick gave me a fork for each dish then walked away. Really? Do I look white to yu?

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

Technically since she I don't see any bowls in this picture, she was helping you. You can't really hoover a bunch of rice on a plate, unless your lifting the plate and bringing it to your mouth?

Asian checking in, been using chopsticks since infant. BUT has any Asians noticed other Asians and how fucked up it looks when they use chopsticks. Some hold the chopsticks weird af

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Asian here and I used chopsticks all my life as well but I never knew I was using them wrong until I met my wife and she's like WTF, that's how kids hold them lol. I would use my fingers to roll open and squeeze to pick up. I changed real quick and think I use them like normal now.

Correct. Actually a spoon would had been perfect for this situation eh.

Yeah I’ve also been holding chopsticks wrong my whole life with middle finger. Suppose to just be a light touch with the index.

    White

    Chopsticks check.

Best friend is Chinese. I’d be a disgrace if I couldn’t use them.

I'm so good I can eat soup with them.

But a knife and fork is always better. This is an objective fact. Thai people know.

i fumble for a couple minutes, then go get a fork..
This but more and more I just revert to a fork right away. Seems pointless to waste good time fumbling with chopsticks when I can be stuffing my face right away with a fork.

Can you eat a donut using a knife and fork? Not without destroying the donut.

Sure I can. Either implement can hook the hole.

Chopsticks are basically the same system that lobsters use. And lobsters are prehistoric bugs. Knife and fork is technology.
