I got the 3rd monitor connected on the dock via mini display port.
But my work laptop is doing this. Even If I disconnect the other monitor. Third screen does not work. Any reason why? (Its the monitor on the right)

Edit: I tested with another monitor and a old dell one via display port (including using another displayport dongle). The laptop does not like stuff coming in via the display port.

If a driver for a HDMI to USB device is outdated. If a update is done. Is the driver update done on the device or on the computer?
I can't run updates on the worklaptop.

Has anyone been able to find a dual-monitor desk clamp arm that supports a lot of weight (like 30+lbs/each arm)?

    how old are your monitors?!?!

Quick search and this is 12kg each... you think your desk material can handle that amount of twist?

I use one monitor for a MS Surface + Mac Mini

HDMI direct for Mac; HDMI port in monitor
Mini DP to HDMI then HDMI to DVI adapter for MS Surface; DVI adapter in monitor

Works flawlessly. Just need a bigger monitor

If I have an ultra-wide, can I split the windows without downloading something? Work laptop needs permissions I don't have
