Yes please post up a list/inspection of what they do. And if possible, how much total bill is?
Bill is around $150. I do it every two years. I'll see if they'll send me a list.

    High efficiency.
Most of us in the industry despise it, it causes a lot of friction with customers. Customers get mad because of the repair frequency and also that we don't or can't carry all these proprietary parts with us in the service truck. There is a limit to how many times people want to see us with our beaming smiles at their door.

Mine is running non stop just to hover around 21 in the house. Can’t be right. I’ve replaced the filter. Any other suggestions are welcomed, or is this normal given the temps?

Not normal unless it was undersized. Likely an underlying issue, check if it’s throwing any codes

Seems normal to me. Its pretty f'in cold out. How old is house? Is it properly insulated? 2 story?

My furnace is on every 12-15 minutes I think. Heat cycle is about 5-6 mins long. Im just guessing at these times, haven't actually timed.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Had a Bryant Plus 80 in my previous home that was from the mid 90s. It ate through motor bearings every couple years, other than that all it needed was a new pressure switch.

New place has a High Eff Goodman... not looking forward to dealing with this thing in the future.
This is what I have. 3 years old, cleaned the pressure switch twice, reset it at least 10 times. It always happens at the worst times too.

My 3 year old Lennox just sent me an email saying that the high pressure switch failed to close. Wtf do I do?

It is truly a different world when your furnace starts emailing you. Just don't ever tell us that things between you and your furnace have moved to the next level.

I think it's fine now that I have taken the cover off and yelled at it for 10 minutes. No error codes and it's working.

Pressure switch failed again a few times. Draft inducer motor appears to be running and no blockages. My wallet is going to hurt today with the weekend on call rates.

    Ours is 15 years old.
Last year we had a no heat situation so i figured it had blown out the pilot light but its been so long since i had to look at a furnace repair i didn't know it has no pilot light.
But i did find this issue...

It is a proving switch to ensure the combustion blower is moving the correct amount of air before sending in the fire. They are finicky and often have revised parts, sometimes several in a year. Manufacturers still canít figure out how to make them even last through the warranty period, never mind long term.
