Another one I have been working on for a while... I think I am almost ready to call it finished. 22"x30" wild on stretched canvas. Not sure if I prefer it in landscape or portrait orientation but I think it works either way!

Okay I decided I was not as happy with that last piece as I was initially so I have reworked it a ton. I like it a lot more but would like some opinions of anyone is interested in giving me feedback!

You could try sanding away to reveal some older layers underneath. Food for thought anyway.

    Continuing down the 90's nostalgia:

I am so stuck on this one! I keep wanting to add something but always stop myself last second thinking it is perfect as is being tranquil and understated but with lots of interesting texture. I keep going back and forth. Uggggh! It is making me lose sleep! Haha!

Just finished this gem for my childhood. Statement below.

One of the more obscure toys from our childhood was the Nickelodeon Flash Screen. The flashing device (pictured) came with a glow in the dark screen where you could put your body against it, and then use the flash, which made a very entertaining charging noise. The powerful flash would leave a silhouette of your body on the Flash Screen. Once we had our fun with it, we quickly discovered that the flashing device was arguably even more fun to use to blind your siblings! They don't make these anymore, and I think I know why.

Love it man! I am still going to get you to do a piece for us. Just been a weird couple months and the extra coin is being kept under lock and key for a little bit until we know how stuff lands, but once free for fun purchases I will be back at you again!

I don't have an artistic bone in my body (and no, I wouldn't like one thank you) but I do buy artwork and have quite a few pieces ranging from prints to originals. This is my crown jewel, just obtained last week. 48"x36". The photo does no justice to the depth of colour in this piece, it's quite remarkable in person.

@tirebob what did you do with the little raven a few pages back?

Yeah I liked that. If you do another one similar (raven) talk to me!

That piece was done by a man named Darrell Bell. You can look his works up still on Instagram. He was a close personal friend of mine and recently passed very suddenly. Owning his work has long been on my list but, there was always "time" so just never got around to it. Suddenly the time was gone and now, as the estate settles I was fortunate enough to be first on the list of friends to choose from unsold works to purchase. Loved this one as he predominantly did landscapes and this is a bit of a departure from the usual, just as he was! Couldn't be more honoured to have a piece, it'll never leave my possession.

    Here's a little write-up of him:

Aww damn man... Sorry to hear that, but fantastic you were able to get a piece of his!

I will keep it in mind for sure. If I was messing around and going down that road again, are you wanting something small on purpose or would bigger be more suitable? I can't say it is something I will be on in short order or anything as I am super distracted by other stuff at the moment but I do like to keep this stuff in mind. No commitment ever though... Just nice to know what people are finding most interesting that I am doing!

I support the idea of more birds. Birds are awesome, and the corvids (Crows, Ravens, Magpies, Jays etc) manage to be both cute and majestic and threatening all at the same time.

Size doesn't matter, if something along that line comes up let me know what it is. If/whenever that would be!

I'll throw more of my stuff up sometime if you want to see it @tirebob since your initial post also mentioned collections.

Well hell... I wasn't going to post this one because it is something completely outside of my comfort zone and 100% experimental... Sort of a modern grafitti'esque' highly tactile punk rock abstract I called "from the primordial soup". It is a 30 inch by 30 inch oil mixed with cold wax medium on canvas. Not sure how much of this I plan on doing in the future but it was a blast to try and create!

@tirebob the "cartoon" painting of Chi Pig is an original done by Chris Sharry if you know who he is. If not, check his Instagram.

That first one is a self portrait by Jim Lindberg, one of 75 prints!
