I really like that last one Bob! Are you using a really wide brush? Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Anyway I've been moving up in size with the paper works. I've made them to fit in the back of my Fit, and now realize they won't fit if I ever frame them. Maybe it's time to buy a van!

An old remote control car from the mid nineties that would literally jump a curb at the press of a button. The Tyco Air Devil!

Maybe there's some people around my age here that might remember this Big Shiny Tunes CD from '99! It's 39.5x37.5"

Those are rad man! I like seeing you work bigger... Do you find it easier or more difficult woking on the larger scale?

As for the above piece, it was all palette knife work. No brush at al.

Thanks! I'm undecided if it's easier or harder at the larger size. The prep work of cutting the paper and the drawing takes way longer for sure as it comes on a roll, but the increased size it does allow for you to be a bit more reckless in colour application. I'm trying some new things like painting pieces of paper to create specific colours when needed, like in the RC car. Good luck finding that amount of yellowy green from magazines. I will say that I do love looking at them on the wall at that size. They have a lot more presence.

Makes sense... Have you thought about maybe trying you methods using fabric scraps rather than paper? Would be interesting texture differences and plenty of supply out there. My wife being a quilter made me think of it haha!

Hadn't considered it! But after doing all this work I definitely have eyes peeled for new things - I was even looking at the metallic colours of some the toothpaste boxes. But I don't want to become a hoarder either!

Here is a cityscape piece I started recently. This is just the basic underpainting but I think I could almost stop right here haha!

Calling it done… Here is better photo in natural

Delivered this baby to its new owner this week! I am super happy to see it go to a home that was just as excited to hang it as I was to paint it. Quite the feeling when someone appreciates what you have created enough to live around it every day!

Congrats! It's a good feeling. I saw that on Instagram - good buyers!

Any TF fans here? 53 x 39". I'm going to try canvas for the next few. I can't keep working on paper when I think about the framing costs. For this one i ended up using clear vinyl for the plastic chest/cassette area.

    LoL!
I had both Blaster and Soundwave.
When I was in university, I helped campaign and vote hard enough that Soundwave was literally elected to Student Council. Not joking. A drawing of a cartoon was successfully elected to Student Council with more votes than living humans.
