So basically we should be trying to spread this as quick as possible to have it pass through before there is a chance for mutation. With all the controls in place we are likely to be looking at another year or 2 for this to make its rounds. That's a tad bit outside the 12 week window.
hard pass on that, too many unknowns, too many side effects, 90% of people 'recovered' still have at least 1 symptom

If we wanted a mass cull of people over 70, maybe that plan is a good Trojan horse for it. Although bullets seem simpler and less problematic for the rest of the population. We already sent the military into care homes. Hmmmm.......

I doubt they've identified 90% of people that have had this yet.

Yeah exactly. Sweden isn't the golden ticket people had hoped for , ie: "look at Sweden, they did nothing and they're fine!" Additionally, some analysts have said their economy isn't significantly better off than countries who did lockdowns.

Right? You can't have much of an economy if your trade partners aren't trading

    https://www.npr.org/sections/coronav...id-covid-spike

Mississippi ICU full. Mask law comes down. And patients shipped out of state.

NE US was cold and now getting hot again with more infections.

Not sure letting Americans into our country is a good idea. They may head north and ruin our health care since they will get treated but they don't have to pay.

It's a terrible idea, but they are billed for their hospital care. Collecting is another matter.

Except spreading it is when the mutation happens. A mutation is an imperfect copy. More copies mean more mutations.
DNA can mutate when high energy gamma+ radiation knocks or fries pieces of DNA on a DNA chain. Literally how the Hulk got his mutated powers.

So, it may just be a factor of simply waiting for a rogue high energy particle from the sun hitting Covid right on the spot that makes it damaging to lungs and bam, instantly less lethal. But yes, if more people have the diesease, the higher the chance that it will mutate from said radiative source.

But one definitely does not want more mutation (in general, except maybe in the one scenario where you have a crazy virulent and deadly existing virus) one mutation for the natural spread of the Flu every year is enough, we don't need 12 different strains per year.

So maybe its a good idea? Its a plan at least.

We should've built that wall in Canada instead and get Alberta to pay for it.

Well that's why they find unusual amount of stroke patients with COVID. Jeezus indeed. I rather die than be paralyzed. No wonder they said this will hit obese population harder.

TLDW, COVID-19 increase stroke risk due to blood clots.

If stroke doesn't kill you, the blood clots may f with your kidney/heart. It's not just a lung disease.

This is also probably why they are hesitant to do human challenge as damages may be permanent.

    EDIT:

Kidneys may fetch higher prices going forward...no wonder UK NHS has turn into "opt out" organ donation system.

Always was leery of the donate organ checkbox. What is to stop a man like Rob Anders from just hiring someone to run over you?

That's ok, they can only come at you from the front or they risk ruining the merchandise.

So you don't really have to look over your shoulder..... much.

Ok bad scenario choice: What if Rob Anders hires a goon to jump you with horse tranquilizer and take your organs when you are asleep?

    Better.

Just noodling on the possibility but any chance the next Nobel Prize will be COVID-19 related since it's the biggest thing to happen in a while?
