Anyone can look at the data and base their decisions off that, it’s how lockdowns are implemented. Many look after dead elderly in LTC homes and decide it’s a normal course of life, while governments freak the fuck out, along with their Karen supporters, and call for lockdowns and shutdowns. Data is only as good as the interpretations and our decisions and opinions of shutdowns based off it. The current data does not support shutdowns and obliterations of economies because on dead 80+ year olds.
Your comment was about people having opinions on vaccine data, not lockdowns.

People can choose to believe what they want and choose to take the vaccine as they wish, based on the data that the C19 vaccine(s) were created and released much faster than anything else in that table. You don't need to be anti-vax to question the legitimacy of this vaccine and it's unknown long term affects due to the rushed approval. I'm hardly what you'd call anti-vax, I'm all up to date on my shots and always take the yearly flu vac. I'm not in any danger to die from C19 and would rather take my chances without rushing for a vaccine that's unproven. Yet.

So you are disagreeing with the data?

I was hesitant about the mrna vaccines until I did more research to understand how they work. I now feel confident to take the pfizer or moderna vaccines.

You say this like we don't have 17 years working to crack SARS as foundational research...

And flu vaccines are magically made every year for new strains/mutations... We do that EVERY year now. it's not 30 years per strain, its a few months.

Unless you have a shellfish allergy. Then I'd be aware what you're about to take.

Is that an actual thing? That shellfish allergies make the vaccine a risk?

Not this one. (or any others that I can recall).

People with "food allergies" are the OG snowflakes.

Was curious. I know several people with such an allergy.

I believe it's the other ingredients and not just the covid vaccine. Sister has a reaction to the booster shot in junior high... She has a shellfish allergy.
I'm not a doctor but maybe do some investigating if you have such allergies and are thinking of the vaccine.

There's a very small handful of people with allergies that have had a reaction to Moderna's vaccine.

Nurse Passes out on Live TV after Getting the Vaccine

Another Nurse Gets half her Face Paralyzed from the Vaccine (Bells Palsy)

I mean what can you expect when they rolled out this Vaccine in less than a year, that skipped Animal testing, using a never used before experimental type vaccine, on a vaccine that changes the human genome, when there has never been a vaccine for coronoviruses, and when it has never been tested for long term side effects. But hey, the great thing is Vaccine makers are shielded from Legal Liability. Just Smart Business, right?

Take a vaccine that you might not need, to fight off a virus that might not affect you. Nice. I'll be surprised if half the Canadian population goes for this vaccine after all the front line workers and immune compromised population get forced vaccinated. Vaccination centres will be ghost towns, hell the yearly flu shot is essentially crickets after the initial rush of regulars. People will look at the data and make their own minds on whether to take the vaccines or not.

This is interesting. Are there Caribbean holiday deals on now? I could use a few weeks in the sun.

HYPOCRITE AIR: Amid COVID lockdown, Ontario finance minister enjoys sunny St. Barts getaway

On Tuesday night, Phillips confessed he went on vacation to the pricey Caribbean island of St. Barts, the swish winter playground for the rich and famous.

Correlation does not equal causation. I read an article a week or so ago that talked about 5 or 6 people who all developed Bells Palsy after receiving the vaccine, but they all recovered within a few months. The issue is that many people get Bells Palsy and there is no known cause. For most, it clears up from within a few weeks to several months. Interestingly, it is often linked to viral infection. One could argue that the nurse above had COVID and that is what caused her Bells Palsy. But, again, correlation does not equal causation.

    https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-...s/syc-20370028

There is simply no way to blame the vaccine on people getting Bells Palsy. And it does not change the human genome. I strongly suggest that you stop getting your "science" from Facebook.

Not the same but nice try. People smoke and drink excessively knowing the risks, not to mention over indulge on food and become obese which carries it's own risks. Covid is peanuts compared to deaths and complications from obesity and cancer. 0.0004% of the Canadian population has died 'from' Covid. I'm okay with those risks.
