    One-on-one training is permitted

    • Only one-on-one or one-on-one household training is permitted for indoor fitness activities (e.g. fitness in dance studios, training figure skating on ice, one-on-one lessons).
    • Sessions have to be scheduled or by appointment. No drop-in or groups allowed.

    Safety requirements:

    • One-on-one sessions cannot interact with others and there must be a minimum of 3 metres distance between sessions in the same facility.
    • Trainers must be professional, certified and/or paid trainers who are providing active instruction and correction. Passive supervision of a physical activity is not considered training.
    • Trainers should remain masked during the session; clients are not required to wear a mask while exercising
    • More than one trainer and client ‘pair’ are allowed into the facility, studio, rink, court, pool, ice surface, etc. so long as:
      • Each trainer and client stays 3 metres away from all other trainers and clients at all times, including in entryways and exits.
      • Each trainer can only interact with their assigned client, and each client can only interact with their assigned trainer.
      • No interaction between clients or between trainers is allowed.
      • No ‘cycling through’ multiple trainers as in circuit training.
So technically you can go to the gym with your wife. She is your trainer, and you are hers. This is going to be a totally loose and impossible standard to enforce. The only real rule here that has to be adhered to is the gym limiting patrons to the point that everyone can maintain 3 meters distance.

My mistake, I didn't see the clarification.

So the gyms gonna be hella expensive for 3 weeks, cool plan.

Seems like it’s tailored to training professional athletes and physiotherapy.

    What the hell is this?

Alberta could've easy set the same rules as Sask(the pinnacle gold standard in covid restrictions) and have everyone wear a mask at all times. Keep the gyms open and limit exercise class sizes. There have been no outbreaks linked to gyms since reopening in the spring.

Liked the segment with Bin Zhang today. Basically a nice way of saying if you fucking hicks got your shit together, we would be good by now. If it was me, I would have ripped Canadians a new asshole and then get a bunch of comments online to go back to China

What a fuck-show. Here's how this weekend went.
    - email from kids school that someone tested positive, no mention of close contacts.
    - robocall from school telling me to check my email.
    - 2nd email from kids school and list of classes that must quarantine, my kids class specifically listed as "come to school as usual"
    - email from AHS saying my kid needs to quarantine, because of close contact. Lists some classes by "room number" not grade, which this school doesn't use. So I can't tell if this email was sent in error.

What the actual fuck? I guess we don't send her today while we sort this out.

This is what should of happened. Even if I'd rather not wear a mask while working out (just preference), I certainly would versus not having the gyms available at all or available with a trainer only.

Oh hahahaha, the school sent another robo-call saying AHS fucked up and they were trying to figure out how ot get people off the quarrantine list when it was an error.

Well but UK/SA variants are wrecking multiple cities in China right now. And the biggest superspreader event on earth is about to happen there (and it's not the Superbowl).

So yeah, if a authoritarian government can't keep UK/SA variants in check, there is almost 0 hope for us. Hope those new travel restriction works but I seriously doubt it.

These types of lockdowns were deemed racist back in March, when they could've made a difference. Without going into shoulda-couldas, the biggest failure was in LTC homes. Take away deaths from those facilities and the numbers aren't as horrific as they seem.

NFL and CDC released the Results of their 623 000 tests. Only 2 got sick, nobody died out of 11 400 personnel. Interesting considering they are all in close proximity to each other, breathing, huffing and puffing in each other's faces, touching each other (oh no Social Distancing Faux Pas!)

256 Games, 2000 practices, 32 teams, over 2000 players an no evidence of on field transmission. But let's all close down they Gyms. Fine the Gyms that open. Kill all the Small Businesses.

Today I learned that since I'm just like an NFL player, I really should've kept pursuing that dream.

I think this is just proof that steroids work as a great covid vaccine. A 99.998 efficacy!

Between roids and hydroxyloroquine, I'll be invincible. This one simple trick big pharma doesn't want you to know!
