This is the most expensive government Alberta's ever had, so we might as well get what we're paying for.

People aren’t exactly lining up to rat their neighbours out and most people know better than to answer to door if the cops or bylaw did show up.
"If cases don't drop below 50 by the end of the month, we will implement a sales tax."

That'll get the personal responsibility juices flowing. If it doesn't, we've fixed the deficit. Win-win.

You have a really really hard time with the concept of a lesser evil, don’t you?

All governments are bad, our current government is the lesser of alternate evils.

Bad leader in a shitty party, or good leader in a shittier party? I think the provincial government choices are on par at the moment. I'll change my mind if they boot Randy out.

That's the different between 30% vaccinated vs 10%. Just look at Montana and Arizona at their pace at vaccinating seniors.
    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...ine-doses.html

    We ran out of time.
It's more a matter of how Nazi different places were about lockdowns and controls. The places that took far more lenient approaches are all far better off now. Instead of waiting for a magic vaccine, they got to work on herd immunity right away, and they're reaping the benefits now. At this point, places like Onterrible are trying to play catch up with the vaccine to get them where Alberta already was pre-vaccine.

I thought it was an actual Government of Alberta survey until I realized it was a NDP political ad.

^ I voted for the AB Party last election - if that was a NDP stunt, they will 'disappear' my results mysteriously.

Gonna have to go from 'really concerned' to 'double-secret concerned.'

Or adding to my plan of 'get these numbers down or there will be a sales tax' we'll also go with 'and the most obnoxious one of your nursing acquaintances, you know: the one who doesn't actually work front line but goes on like they do, gets a 15% raise.'

Gotta break out the big guns.

I think nurses should work off of minimum wage + tips.

    That. Is a fantastic idea.

Since they earn tips can we pay them under minimum wage?

Every industry should be minimum wage + tips.

I will then invest in suicide net stocks and profit.
