We aren't old enough to be blamed quite yet. We have to be senile and defenceless before the new generation starts shitting on us.

So when in Berta getting the Ontario style stay at home order?

Over/under set at 9.5 days from now.
You've already got business' saying fuck this they aren't closing with the latest backwards staging. So it seems unlikely there is any palatability for a full lockdown again.

Ya. I had to login all the time to check my reply statuses. When I ran into some beyond.ca tech issues.

I couldn't find a customer service phone number so I had to put a message into the vbulletin complaint thread.

The cognitive dissonance I am seeing in people who think America is worse than Canada in every way is pretty entertaining (spent Easter with family in bc)

    No, it's not.

We have more vaccine than anybody thought we would two months ago, more than they thought it would be a month ago. Cases are rising as a result of lack of planning and enforcement of restrictions to keep cases low to deal with the expected vaccine delivery schedule. Re-opening envy when looking at a country with a faster vaccination schedule rather than basing it around the reality of our own situation is what's to blame.

Australia has 0% fully vaccinated, they're doing fine when it comes to cases.

    I agree I have re-opening envy.

Although I have yet to see any data to suggest that "planing and enforcement" has similar efficacy to vaccination.

The number of vaccines we expected to get was low from the beginning. It’s like saying I’m aiming to get 10% on an exam and getting 15%.

Kert has to believe that government policies and recommendations make a difference otherwise her world view falls apart.

We sure don't have more than the United States, so as usual, there's a hole in the upper quarter of kėrt and stupid is falling out of it.

Makes the policies surrounding re-opening that much dumber. Whatever one's criticisms of the vaccine delivery schedule, it is still at a faster pace than anybody was expecting or planning for. Aiming for 10% but acting like you got 50%, then complaining when you only got 15%. What were you aiming for again?

It has better efficacy, as there are places with 0% fully vaccinated with better case results that are effectively fully open.

The only people aiming for 10% were the Trudeau Liberals.

You are basically congratulating them for getting a D+ when we expected a D so we might as well call it a pass. Actually, that seems like exactly the kind of policy you would support.

I'm not congratulating them on anything.

The provinces knew the vaccine delivery schedule. Some pretended like they didn't to placate to their base and draw attention away from themselves. The vaccine delivery schedule is higher than expected, so blaming results on a lack of vaccines is stupid. They know what they were getting and should have planned accordingly. We've gotten more vaccines than we should have been planning restrictions around, so there isn't an excuse on getting too few of them.

You're complaining you're in debt because you spent $10,000 this month, when your employer said they'd only pay you $5,000, but actually managed to pay you $7,000.

Its funny that you think only "some" government leaders play politics constantly while others tend to do an adequate job. When I read the first few words in any of your posts, I immediately know who and how you're going to blame these leaders (and the photo you'll use at some point) while brushing off any thoughtful rebuttal that comes from others in this forum.
