Asymptomatic spread is likely GROSSLY overexaggerated. The simple answer is that mildly sick people go about their lives with covid and spread it, just like the flu.

A lot of spread data is flawed IMO because people are generally lying pieces of shit who won't admit when they didn't follow the recommendations.

Just look at Grandpa in Ontario who travelled to Pakistan, to deal with a rental tenant of all things, then returned to Canada stayed at a Covid hotel, and still got infected and spread it to everyone in his family. Yet they proudly claim they "did everything right" to every news source they can.

In regards to BC Parks, there's priority reservations for BC residents until July 7. By that point good luck finding an opening for the rest of the year, on top of any other restrictions they might put in place.
