Always good to know what parts of town to avoid. In this case, it was fairly obvious. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

How many places are you stupid in?
What's the over-under on the shutdown time after this opening? I give it 2 weeks. Less, doesn't have the to show symptoms. More, traction of the virus spread goes up too high.
This is based on my online infectious disease degree.
I think they don't put back restrictions, but they slow down any further openings. Frankly, we need to fill those hospitals up, get those nurses busy.

I have it on good authority that one pharmacy tried to sell masks to another pharmacy. The regular retail was 3.99/box. They wanted to charge $87/box

Majority of the recent spread in Calgary is related to Cargill. Pay attention. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
June 23rd is my guess. It'll be a slower initial infection rate because businesses will be extra cautious in the beginning, but after a couple of weeks, they'll start slipping, then another couple of weeks of infection spread, then a week before the government decides it's bad enough to put restrictions back in place, but won't want to ruin first day of summer, but will also want to prevent Canada Day madness. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Texas opened up and saw 1000 cases a day of new infections in the past 5 days, I see a big spike happening here too, not 1000 but definitely more than what we’ve been seeing lately

There... Full speed ahead, Corky! Go on... We all is waitin... Preach to us.
Let me put that into perspective, that’s roughly the same amount as Canada as a ratio. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
And we’re closed, they’re open. 1000 a day isn’t bad... they have 30 million population.
Again almost identical to Canada, they’re open at 1000/day. We’re closed. We test more though, that’s for sure.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Kenney did say earliest day for P2 is June 19th. Sounds like they want to see how US fairs and if the border with them remain essential only til 21st.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I heard some shit and Cargill management is fucking horrible. Forcing people with symptoms to come into work or be fired. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It would be more useful to compare their numbers before and after. Did their infections go up, and by how much. I can’t find the before numbers. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The death numbers, which are probably more useful, lag by a few weeks, so too early to tell. But assuming testing patterns didn’t change, the before/after is a decent indicator.
I have a friend who's relative works at Cargill. He said the truth is somewhere in the middle. Cargill management haven't been great in this, but they're not solely responsible either. On the positive side almost all of the Cargill employees have already recovered. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Staff at the JBS plant in Brooks say management there did an excellent job.
Pretty hard to sympathize with the Pinoy cargill employees who cried foul that Cargill wasn’t doing anything to protect them from the virus, and then were shown carpooling (4-5 per vehicle) leaving the employee parking lot at the end of their shift. CTV news had the clip, feel free to find it.
I know a lot of people in the Pinoy community are furious with said employees for giving them all a bad image and name. There were even instances of racism in high river because of their actions.
