Just have to fax a notarized friend request and if they accept they start mailing you pictures every week.

Sometimes there’s advertisements for swimsuits. It’s like a virtual newspaper

With that trend, I'll be told to be in the office next week because management will decline that number.

ICU numbers keep hitting all time highs, I'm curious though, we are still not seeing an expected rise in deaths. In fact death rates have been "low" for months now. Are we just getting lucky or are we now at a point where even if you do go in to ICU, your chances of surviving are so much higher than early in the pandemic (due to better and more effective treatments as well as younger and healthier ICU patients).

They learned how to treat it and stopped killing people with ventilators so frequently now.

All time high by like 15. And since, we’ve shifted more labour to the beds.

    We have a 425 capacity.

We won’t pass 225 people in the icu. I’ll bet @ExtraSlow ’s beer on it all day.

Shit we probably won’t pass 200.

At this point the people most likely to die are either dead, or had covid, or are vaccinated. People getting sick now are largely younger and less likely to die, and treatments have improved. ICU number is important, but it's a lagging indicator, and less unbiased than deaths or raw case numbers.
Its important, but just a less useful statistic.

At this point the people most likely to die are either dead, or are protesting mask wearing or operating a church.

Those people aren't dying very effectively at all.

I'm hearing from horribly accurate sources that all admissions to ICU between ___ and ___ are being counted as CoVid positive. You could be hit by a train and count as CoVid+ of you land in ICU.
This is really a scary and gross thing if it's true, and like I say, these are from sources who should be trusted. I just don't want this to go down some Jutes rabbit hole of shit. I can't fathom why our illustrious government would want to pad these numbers, but... Here we are.
I'm very uncomfortable about it. I guess it could be real when you look at BC making decisions for their entire province based on numbers coming from Vancouver for example. I think that people are so dumb that the government "needs" to essentially lie about the overall severity across the province in order to attempt to get more rule followers.

    I really hope I'm wrong.

I just want a carrot. I wasn't them to tell me, on the record that after ___% of people have one shot, we can all _____.
Did Dr. Skeletor say that after 75% we can look forward to ____&? I hate her.

gov't, officials, and policymakers have consistently lied to us throughout this pandemic. Sometimes those lies are by omission, sometimes they are outright, and sometimes they are just representing data poorly.

But this pandemic should absolutely degrade the trust that the public has in these institutions.
