In true Trudeau fashion he has completely defended HIS right to travel to his cottage to spend Easter with his family. Who also chose to travel there FROM their primary residence and now claim that it is their primary residence. At least till they decide to go back to the real one.

What a worthless cunt of a leader. It never ends, even when you try to give him the benefit of the doubt.
I just like that both May and Scheer also fucked up and cant point fingers at him, lol. All our leaders are idiots.

On a related note (and perhaps I missed it in this thread), does anyone have an idea of, or link to an article where they estimate what China's actual infection/death numbers are? Cause there's no goddamn way that the published ones are accurate.

I tuned him out as soon as he said he was from Saskatchewan, is that racist?
No no. You made the right call.

Going to my beach house is essential travel for my mental health, so fuck off, ya know?

Funny what people pour their energy into these days. Have a beach property? Drive there safely with your groceries and enjoy social distancing there if you can work from home. I mean our leaders should be setting a good example, but holy fuck some people just love pitchforks for the sake of being mad.

Best educated guesses I have seen are 2.3 million infected and 50,000 ish deaths.

I haven't figured out why I need all that hand sanitizer if I'm following reccomended practices and minimizing tine near humans? I can see businesses wanting it for workers, but sounds like individuals?
I actually have to carry it with me as a condition of my work and the job sites I visit. Also had to buy a respirator because I can no longer buy just plain old dust masks and the new rules mean I have to have at least a dust mask or something better. Such is life these days I guess, I'm still working - also carry sanitizing spray and sanitizing wipes in my Suburban - hell, I have a bucket now just for safety and sanitizing gear. One builder actually wanted trades people to carry portable sinks and a source of hot water with them - that got squashed promptly.

See having hand sanitizer with you makes a lot of sense for people who are still working and visiting different sites through the day as well as eating lunch likely without access to soap and water.

There isn’t really anything wrong with what May and Scheer did. It was essential travel and the least bad option. People are just whiners.

Also isn’t Rideau Cottage the official PM residence for several years now while the old one is going through renovations?

Edit: Nevermind, got that confused, it wasn’t Rideau he went to.

Well, this is dumb as hell.

Make the test kits here, can’t use em though.

Well it’s complicated. Got to make sure something benefits QuebeC enough before you can approve it for use in Canada, need some appropriate French labels, some equalization taxes, maybe let Montreal have them without paying for a few years.

    It’s important shit you know.

This compares to their reported figures of roughly 83,000 infections and 3,500 deaths?

Scheer taking his entire family on a trip to his non-residence isn't the same thing as that Trudeau did?

I think all there could be is speculation. The cover-up in China runs deep, so numbers can (and are) skewed through various levels of government, I figure. I'm sure will never really know but I think the estimate given to you a couple posts up seems pretty plausible.

Difference being - sheers family is relocating to Ottawa to be functional government, eliminating multiple points of contact.

Mays happy to travel back and forth.

And Trudeau just gets to go wherever he wants in Ontario/Quebec residence, official residence, family cottage, PMs cottage... Crossing borders and travelling unnecessarily.

I call that pretty big differences - but that's just me.

In the end, you are still free to go wherever you please, regardless of what the worlds Karens have to say. Canada will never go into a complete lockdown with curfews and cops/military patrolling, we simply don’t have the people for it.

Been covered before, serology test is to see if you are fit to go out/back to work. It's not for testing you have COVID or not since you don't generate antibody until 7-10 days after infection.

It's also crucial to use it to test for how long anitbody lasts if we start now on recovered patients and track them over the next 6-18 months. It could be short lived.

2 Hours in line for some donuts. It's getting crazy out there.

    https://ca.news.yahoo.com/krispy-kre...163814320.html

“The line is like that all day, every single day,” Vincent said, adding some in line drove from as far away as Windsor and Ottawa.

A parking lot that normally serves multiple big box stores has morphed into a waiting area for desserts. Security guards are helping direct traffic as hundreds of people line up every day.

“It’s cool to see everyone waiting in line, doing the same thing,” Vincent said.
