where does the other income come from?

He probably means from sick time. My wife has over 900 hours banked, whatever the maximum is, and it carries over indefinitely. 3 sick days or more requires a doctor's note and you get put on some attendance program which I don't fully understand but she's always afraid of being put on that. There are many that DGAF and use sick time almost weekly.

We have a bidet thing attached to our toilet, but it doesnt mean you cant use no toilet paper, you still have to dry your ass after the jet sprayed it down. I just wish the water was warm, not arctic cold.

My MIL came back from burnaby on Saturday with a nasty cough, Im hoping its not covid19 but who knows because she went to the doctor twice while there to see about it and they didnt know what it was, at the same time they also didnt test her. I guess we will find out in the next few days or not.

I’m no doctor, but we don’t actually test for viruses directly correct? Instead what we test for is antibodies for said virus?

It’s pretty hard to definitively know if you have been reinfected or just still have antibodies in your system and died of some other respiratory illness after, secondary infections are pretty common from the flu since it beats you down so much.

Viruses are so scary in general because we really haven’t figured out a great way to treat them in hundreds of years of modern medicine.

There are two general types of tests: one that identifies the presence of the specific viral genetic code (PCR) and one that identifies your body's immune system reaction to the virus (serology/antibody test via blood).

Both can be done relatively rapidly (in under an hour) if the tests are development and the equipment is there. I dont think the rapid tests are available just yet.

But I think the idea is that you can detect the presence by both of these markers in recovered patients. I'm not certain, but I believe they were identifying the presence of the genetic code via PCR test, which may indicate the presence of the virus, even after recovery. I'm not certain if they think that could be "leftover" viral presence, or an indicator of re-infection. I believe it is more likely the former, although again, I'm not sure what the current thought is. I haven't seen good evidence yet, that we think the virus can re-infect after recovery and I'm not sure a positive PCR test should be considered strong evidence of such.

(I never though all of my undergraduate training would come in handy again, haha).

See, I used to always carry baby wipes as no matter how clean you think you get your ass with just toilet paper, a secondary wipe with baby wipes show how gross you really are. Now we live on an acreage with a septic system with seepage field so I can't use wipes anymore without causing serious system issues, so I have evolved my pooping to now happen first thing in the morning after coffee, and because timing is consistent I always wait until I have had my morning dump and then straight into the shower after and voila! Always a clean ass before leaving the house. In fact, I now can't bring myself to poop without having a shower after or I just feel gross. Nothing like a clean butt to start your day!

Nothing worse than exiting the shower, and having a dump creep on you no more than 10 minutes later.

If I'm at a festival like BVJ, I carry a small pack of wet wipes in my boot. That's a place you don't want any funk butt.

Yeah TP is honestly not hard to get, I've even seen it on sale recently and Deefoot Meadows Costco had some on Saturday.
