Because if you can’t get a haircut the world keeps turning, albeit you are less pretty.

You force schools to shut down and the economy shuts down when parents can no longer go to work.

I said less pretty. We hadn’t established a baseline.

By using the word "less" you have already set the precedent that there was a level of pretty already there.

Therefore Killramos indeed thinks Masked Bandit is pretty.

I’d say that’s a stretch in logic at best but I can live with that

Sorry if its been mentioned in here but does anyone know what the laws are when it comes to police or bylaw gaining entry to your house if they suspect you have people over? Do i legally have to let them in to search or can i simply say no warrant no thanks? Asking for a friend of a friends cousins moms niece of course.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Well, I would say I am to "pretty" what killramos' avatar is to "debonair".

I believe the correct response to an officer at the door would be "my taxes pay your salary, that makes me your boss so how about you go do something useful". That should diffuse the situation right away.

Bylaw can pound sand, make them call the cops. I would personally comply with orders from the police but perhaps state alloud that you do not consent to them entering your home and make them physically open the door if that’s their prerogative (don’t lock it if you don’t want to pay for a repair). As soon as you start the game about not complying with the police the place to make your case for a violation of your rights is court not the stoop.

Or, just follow the guidelines. Whatever you want.

    Not legal advise

I think I've only met Masked Bandit once in person, but can confirm he's very pretty. I went to a movie with him and I think he bought my popcorn so that counts as a date, right?

you are under no obligation to go to or to open the door - use a RING doorbell and talk if you want but even thats optional. Say nothing.

I've been told (by a cop), that they can't enter, unless you let them (or they have a warrant). Bylaw, or CPS, or RCMP. They need to have a warrant, or be invited in, or think that someone is in danger.

So, sort of like a vampire in that sense.

That’s my understanding. But I generally point back to the stoop not being the place to argue such distinctions.

In the TV shows, the grizzled cop verteran always hear someone yelling faintly in distress and then a Whalberg kicks in door (locked or not)

Thats the extent of my legal knowledge on the subject.

Obey the law or you are just sending all of us into a curfew.

    Nobody wants a curfew.

I caught snippets of it while picking up my son from the bus stop. CBC radio kept cutting out so I'm not 100% sure if it's accurate, but I believe Kenney (I think) mentioned we'll be 20k short for 2nd dose?

I mean, AHS was adamant on saving the 2nd dose to ensure that people got the 2nd shot in time. Then public pressure against UCP had them direct AHS to reconsider, so it'd be pretty fucking sad if this all went south because their hands were forced by the mob.

I hope I heard wrong and can nuke this post instead.
I've done the training for the C19 vaccination program, just so you know there is no maximum time for the second dose, only a min range (Pfizer is 19 days min, 21-28 recommended, Moderna is 21 days min and 21-28 day recommended) but no max time established and they found it worked fine within 2-2.5 months
