The total number of recorded cases seems largely unreliable. If country A is testing 10 times as many people as country B does it really provide any usable data? No.

The number I've been watching is the total number of deaths per 1M population. Italy is sitting at 136, Spain is in second at 93. The USA is at 4 and we're at 1. China is at 2 but i'm not sure how much I trust data of any kind out of a place like China. When this is all over the I wonder if we'll see any analysis of the deaths that occurred to see how many were people in the at risk groups vs. people that were not.
That's not really a good metric either though. Because the outbreaks are typically more concentrated in certain regions. Using deaths in Wuhan per million people in Wuhan would give you a vastly higher number.

Italy is the same as well, over half are concentrated in Lombardy. And the US is centered in New York currently. The death per capita of those regions is significantly higher than the national numbers

For example Lombardy has 4,816 deaths with 10 million people. Which is 481 deaths per million, four times higher than your number.

New York State has 466 deaths per 19.1 million people. Which is 24 deaths per million. 12x higher than the national number. And New York is going to start rising very quickly in the next few days as their medical system is barely holding together

Anyone with "serious coin" in investments probably knows better than to put it into crypto

While that is odd, I'm confident that USA will be at the apex within a month and maybe as little as two weeks.
I wonder what is hurting Switzerland so badly... I've heard San explanation for Italy that I totally buy into, but I'm (like you) baffled by the Swiss rate.
Is your chart horse shit? I'd previously heard Germany was virtually unaffected, so I am wondering...

No, Boris! They got you. How old is he again, gotta look it up. Respect for the man who renounced US citizenship with such enthusiasm.

Its like opening the paper to go right to the important section, the obits (maybe)

ok now we're getting somewhere. Land, water, food supply, housing to keep an army (and their families) happy, and lots of weapons. Not AR-15s, but tanks, planes, etc. Blackwater, or whatever they are calling themselves right now, are a full on army on the scale of nations. This is the stuff that the rich are hoarding for when shit hits the fan

.... I have no idea about how far and how deep the trail goes, but be assured - they wont be caught holding the bag when the FIAT system does go down.

These are the same people who also sold off during the last highs of the market back in Feb.
I agree that they have all sorts of contingency plans, but my question is why would they try to get rid of FIAT? It's the greatest thing they've ever invented. It's so completely decoupled from market forces that they can do whatever the fuck they want to enrich themselves. If a super-plague that kills everyone or the grid goes down or something like that comes along, then for sure they will be going with Plan B, but for now why would they get rid of the economic system that has allowed to enrich themselves far greater than at any other time without having to have private armies and being surrounded by murderous serfs?

Bylaw/police is now stopping drivers with 2 or more in car and fining people. They are using ID addresses to confirm if you live together or not. Some fines $100/person, some $1000.

It is dumb to an extent because ID address doesn't necessarily mean it is your residence.

How many ppl here know of any fines given so far? I only heard from friends of friends, nothing in my inner circle.
Asked a Calgary cop. He said this is horse shit.

Source says John Hopkins. I'd assume it's fine.

After this weekend though...eesh. NYC is not going to be good. I watched a video of an ER nurse mentioning that they are running out of meds, something as simple as Tylenol.

Not until there's a serious competitor in the arena anyways. The kind of guy that can really throw a double fist punch.

FIAT 500 is the worst Italian car that we have allowed to be sold in Calgary. Get rid of it!
