That's not really a good metric either though. Because the outbreaks are typically more concentrated in certain regions. Using deaths in Wuhan per million people in Wuhan would give you a vastly higher number. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Italy is the same as well, over half are concentrated in Lombardy. And the US is centered in New York currently. The death per capita of those regions is significantly higher than the national numbers
For example Lombardy has 4,816 deaths with 10 million people. Which is 481 deaths per million, four times higher than your number.
New York State has 466 deaths per 19.1 million people. Which is 24 deaths per million. 12x higher than the national number. And New York is going to start rising very quickly in the next few days as their medical system is barely holding together

While that is odd, I'm confident that USA will be at the apex within a month and maybe as little as two weeks. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I wonder what is hurting Switzerland so badly... I've heard San explanation for Italy that I totally buy into, but I'm (like you) baffled by the Swiss rate.
Is your chart horse shit? I'd previously heard Germany was virtually unaffected, so I am wondering...
Chart is no bullshit. Swiss don't care.

ok now we're getting somewhere. Land, water, food supply, housing to keep an army (and their families) happy, and lots of weapons. Not AR-15s, but tanks, planes, etc. Blackwater, or whatever they are calling themselves right now, are a full on army on the scale of nations. This is the stuff that the rich are hoarding for when shit hits the fanThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I agree that they have all sorts of contingency plans, but my question is why would they try to get rid of FIAT? It's the greatest thing they've ever invented. It's so completely decoupled from market forces that they can do whatever the fuck they want to enrich themselves. If a super-plague that kills everyone or the grid goes down or something like that comes along, then for sure they will be going with Plan B, but for now why would they get rid of the economic system that has allowed to enrich themselves far greater than at any other time without having to have private armies and being surrounded by murderous serfs? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. After this weekend though...eesh. NYC is not going to be good. I watched a video of an ER nurse mentioning that they are running out of meds, something as simple as Tylenol.
