I'm an optimist, but I can see the regular isolation for regular folks being done away with, and isolation applied to the elderly/nursing homes, in 2-3 weeks.
    Not a chance.

    Nice!! This is great news.

    Also, what company makes ventilators?
Many different companies produce ventilators. I can think of the bigger names in health care that make them - Medtronic, GE, Hamilton, Philips. Probably many others.

Went to Walmart, there was some old guy hacking up a lung in there. Coughing into his palm.

You know what, I think maybe we should be lifting the quarantines and letting the old people die.

Which group is dying the most?
Has "the flu has killed more people" argument evolved?

Good read. She seemed to downplay the concern of asymptomatic transmission.

I dont think so? The flu killed some 50,000 Americans last season - C19 is 'supposed' to kill millions.

We should be seeing evidence of this by now from the early, infected countries. The projections were for hundreds of thousands dead by now, per country.

Good read? 'We don't know' and 'we aren't sure yet' seems to be overall conclusion. Combined with the exact opposite of what we've been hearing about most young people - how they can be infected and not show symptoms..

The white circle is total deaths. That line is around 10000 deaths.

The light yellow-peachy circle is total cases.

And then they get over it quick. That's the point you need to understand.

So if all the old people start dropping off, does this mean there is a greater chance that the USA goes full socialist?

    Yeah, that was questionable wording.

Apparently if you keep up your dues, it will be applied as a credit once they reopen for 150% of the value (IE 4 weeks of payments = 6 weeks of membership). They're also giving away a free gym bag if you continue to pay.

Yikes. They should take down that CBC “expert” interview. A lot of that has already proven flat out wrong. Especially spreading without symptoms. I’m not sure how she managed to miss so much of what is already known.

Also, younger people are getting hospitalized. 38% between 24 and 50.

No, I’d say that this is missing the point entirely.

I still emailed them to freeze. Don't need a bag.
