Again, we're talking about the perspective of the "other side". If they pay their taxes, a chunk of it goes to the medical system. If they then don't have access to that system, then I can see there being a case to be made that they are being unfairly treated. Is it an actual "right"? Maybe, maybe not. But you better believe that "they" will strongly believe it is.
If getting valuable service for your tax dollars was a right our system would be massively in trouble.

I believe medical care is a "right".

So it is, that's how it works, isn't it?

    Topic shift - sort of:

Is Trudeau trying to lock us down?

Short is, he can’t I don’t think. But he’s talking about it, and even says he’ll provide $$ to Alberta if we do.

He’s externally influencing provincial governance. In fact, he called a meeting with Kenney and they’re meeting today.

Thoughts? Just google Kenney Trudeau and you’ll see the video and some other news about it.

    Bizarre..

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday that the federal government is ready to help the provinces.

“I’ve asked my office to reach out directly to the premiers’ officers and I hope to be speaking with Premier Kenney tomorrow — and Premier Moe soon as well — to again reiterate our commitment to support the people of Alberta and Saskatchewan who are facing an extraordinarily difficult and heartbreaking situation right now,” he said.

    Cheers.

    Also this:

    https://globalnews.ca/video/8227883/...id-19-lockdown

    Watch the video.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Tuesday that federal supports for businesses and individuals would “kick back in” if Alberta’s government chooses to reintroduce a COVID-19 lockdown, considering rising infection rates. Trudeau said he would speak to Alberta Premier Jason Kenney on Wednesday.

I would have preferred if the whole country had unified policies and procedures in effect for this since the beginning. The bullshit with provinces like BC banning other Canadians from entering was unacceptable. We're not 10 different countries.
If we had a proper federal leader, the country could've fought this thing together instead of creating this divisiveness. Justin would've fucked it up immeasurably and we could've punted him and his stupid hair out of office and got a real leader after our suffering.

It would have been terrible, but we may very well have been better off.

Don't want to be a broken record, but yes - fuck them, too! They arbitrarily declared that "Atlantic Canadians" were cleaner than the rest of Canada. WtF!?!
No one should have that right or ability.

Let's get a time machine and give us Heir Justin and Dr. Skeletor to run the show starting in February of 2020.

Ten different countries would be too much. Two or even three would be good though

Basically Trudeau will be there to support a lock down if Kenney deem one is needed.

It's basically baiting Kenney into a political suicide.

You mean those same nurses that cried via their union of being overworked, but constantly posted pics to their Insta going out for drinks after work when we’re were allowed household only
