The details of locations and extent are pending. I expect it will initially be underreported before the full story comes out, but that's hard to say. I know that the initial quantity reports out of Mackenzie Towne were low and I don't know why.

One thing I hope for, these people trying to abuse the CREB get audited by CRA when they file their taxes, this isn't free money, it's taxable. It'll also be pretty easy to determine who's abusing it when someone who's been on welfare for years applies for CREB and says they lost employment from COVID-19. Same thing with the rent strike folks, what they don't realize is that they still owe the rent for every month they're in the rental, some landlords are just deferring the payments. Mortgage payment deferrals are working the same way, except the banks are trying to cash in on this, they're charging the interest on the payments missed, just like if you choose the "skip a payment" option for your mortgage. They ended up making more money off of you for "helping" you in a national emergency. These same people that don't want to pay rent also think they shouldn't need to pay for groceries. They think they can just walk into a store, grab what they want and leave without paying due to rising prices. Lefties are morons.

There's really no way to abuse the CREB, the CRA will have a record of everyone that got it. If they don't file the slip the CRA will simply reassess before they send out the final letter. I missed a T5 once, they dinged me for the $3 in taxes for it.

I think today's update indicates it's in the Town itself, not the giant district as you've mentioned. The Mayor stated in 3/27 that it was NOT in the town proper.
It now is and the extent of it will soon be confirmed.

Actually, I am skeptical of pretty much everything by nature. That comes from a lifetime of experience of seeing people in control abuse those below them, from seeing things that are scientifically proven one day that are disproved the next day, from seeing people being manipulated and controlled by fear and so on. If you simply accept what is being told to you without question and you assume everything you are being fed is truth then you are the perfect candidate to be lied to and taken advantage of. I would rather be proven wrong than accept others are right automatically. I can't pretend it is an easy way to live, but it is what it is.

You should be! That is one of the reasons I went into business for myself. I got tired of being told by other people who were in control but didn't necessarily have the clients best interest at heart telling me what was what when I knew they were wrong. Like I said... I have always been a skeptic and always will be, even within my own industry. Actually especially within my own industry. lol!

But that's the point. The young health parents get it, then suddenly you're that much closer to herd immunity. Kids provide a small viral load because their immune systems are so immensely strong.

Part of the reason parts of Italy got so screwed is the viral load at the hospitals were immense, because they kept too many patients in the hospitals.
